Thinking people are talking about me when im high

I used to get that, sometimes pretty bad, until I realized it was people talkin about something completely different. Or at my house it was just a TV on in a different room. I chalk it up to paranoia.

But I also think I might have a latent mental illness so make sure you are really comfortable with your mind

They were probably talking about how high you looked. Wishin they were you.

 

its normal , just ignore it. its hard , but it will go away. used to happen to me all the time.
got so high thought (out of the corner of my eye) i saw him just grillin me, starin at me and GROWLING. NO JOKE. he wasnt and i was like so scared he was gonna start swingin at me for no reason. idk. thats how it was for me, but its all gone now. now that i have a stoner gf ... she lets me kno whats up.

 

Quick being paranoid.... One of the dudes I used to chill with eventually became a coke head and was annoying as fuck... used to act like that because he was a paranoid coke head.

EDIT: Not saying you're a coke head or anything I'm just saying if you're chilling with your homies and you ask them what'd you say about me, it'll get old real quick...

I'd be talking about cooking pancakes with my homies, and he'd bud in with "What about me?" I'm like listen stupid coke head, I'm talking fucking pancakes not how retarded you are.

I'd Be like yo, "that song is ill as fuck! What the fuck did he say, rewind that shit."

Cokehead: "What'd you say about me man?"

Nothing I said that song is ill... rewind that shit... Where in that sentence did I mention you.

 

Your high, you probably looked like it also, so..it shouldn't be much of a surprise if they were staring at you ha...act normal

 

I get this a lot when I'm really blazed around a group of people. Its pretty normal I think

If you think about it, people are constantly looking at other people. Remember, its kinda hard to tell by looking at someone if they are talking about you. The fact that you can, suggests that your blazed.

 

Ah the mind games, so much fun, it just takes a while to get used to it, because your not in chilling setting your mind will have a field day messing with you.

But after a while as you get used to you train yourself to block it out, or ignore it, i hear voices all the time when high, but i've learned which are real, which are a distortion of words and which are not.

Just practise, try to hone it in a safe setting, turn on a T.V or radio and go to a different room, remind yourself that, the voices are not people.

 

I've found that the best way to ignore this, is to not give a fuck. Who care if they're talking about you? You're high as fuck! You're good, man.

 

Im not self centered. So I dont assume people talk about me everywhere I go.

 

You need to be more confident being high in public. What happens if you're sober and make eye contact with a random person? Are they "scheming"? No.

If you think or care that someone knows you're high, being stoned in public isn't for you.

 

i dont think it's "normal".
my friend used to smoke heavy with me and other friends. one day we were at the beach taking a few hits and she gets up and starts walking up to random people and yelling at them. she ran into the water and someone had to go pick her up and throw her on his back and she gave him a wedgie. mind you, she's almost 21. and we've smoked in regular settings, she doesn't overreact so i know she's not making it up. then again, when we smoked at her cousins house, she decides to leave while we're all sleeping and sneaks outside and we find her in the abandoned train yard at 4AM where the crack bums are at... which is freaky. when i confronted her about it, she says when she's high, she sees her "family" including her boyfriend, sister, mother, father, brother, etc... they are 60 miles away from where we're at. the last time this happened was in the summer, she's quit smoking and she doesn't have the problem anymore.

some people have different effects when smoking weed.

 

i swear every time i drive its like the person behind me always knows i'm high, even though they have no clue. so its kind of alike i guess
