Buy Rogue RA-100D Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar | 6 String Acoustic Guitars | Musician's Friend thinking of gettin this one unless anyone else knows of any others for good prices?
go to a music store and pick one up that feels comfortable and is cheap. you can also ask they guy at the counter of a nice acoustic for a beginner.
Do this. A guitar shouldn't be bought just based off what you see, it's kinda like buying a car without actually driving it. The best thing you can do is go to a local music store and just try out a bunch of them till you get that one that feels "right". Granted it's just a beginner's guitar so it's not going to be anything spectacular, but you still want something you'll like. If you're looking to spend under $100, I find that Fender makes the best guitars in this range. It's not going to be anything amazing, but it'll produce a decent sound for the price. If you want to spend a little more like $150-$300, get a Takamine. For that price range they make top quality guitars that can fair with some high end guitars. Good luck.
thanks guys the main reason i wanted something under $100 is because i just want to see how i like it...if it's something i'd be interested in being serious about, then i'll drop hundreds of dollars
ya i would suggest a shop as well but the only around here for me charge way more than a 100 bucks even for their cheapest guitars. plus the markup. but i would suggest going there and jamming to see what you like. i would definitely NOT recommend guitar center though. i got some issues with them. maybe you can check out guitars but even than theres just a big ass hassle with them.
Seconding the guy who said about Takamine guitars, they do some cheap guitars which seem really nice quality. That said, just go into the music store. Look what's in your price range, play a whole heap of guitars, find one that feels nice! Hope it works out for you
if ya have a music store go there and get a feel for the different guitars, then check online at musicians friend and/or ebay and see if ya can find the guitar for cheaper. musicians friend is a great site and ya can get some really great deals off ebay. my dad has bought 4 of his 5 guitars off ebay, all in great shape and cheap(er than buying from a store) fender makes nice guitars, a lot of ones great for beginners. they also make squier guitars, squier are the same just cheaper quality/cheaper price. takamine also makes some nice ones. also check the pawn shops in your area, why even spend a 100 bucks if ya can find something real cheap thatll give ya a feel for it. ya dont need a taylor (very nice guitars) just something to bang on and see if ya wanna continue. put some nice strings on a shitty guitar and itll help a plenty and save ya cash
hi, visit the guitar stores that you have near you. then try to play on the guitars. There are some unbranded acoustic guitars that sounds really good when you compared it to some other expensive acoustic guitars. thanks, ______________________ thermal imaging camera
