Anyone here from Las Vegas? I am looking move to Las Vegas in next few months. I like to find good job in safety, surveillance, supervisor in security, video production or something. I am former safety and security and law enforcement for ten years. I like find good area, maybe summerlin that has a good stripview. Maybe loft thats under 1300 a month... Any advice on vegas let me know. Thanks y'all.
get a job before moving..... vegas has the highest rate of UN-employment in the nation contact a Vegas casino before even considering moving... let your fingers do the walking... a few long distance phone calls are cheap compared to moving and having no job to come to we don't generally have lofts in vegas.... you can find a house for rent for about 1500 hundred a month... maybe 2K square feet or so with a two car garage it is extremely hot in las vegas... extremely hot... don't even consider it if you cant stand 115 degrees for long periods, especially if your planning on doing security good luck

It's a cool place, I loved it. Definitely land a job or two before you move there tho, never can be too safe.
Hello .. Hi .. Ive been livin here in Vegas for about 8 yrs now all i can say is to make out this way you just need to be ahead of the curve you understand what im saying? ... bcuz if you fall behind the results can lead you right under a bridge .. stay on top of your business and never stop working .. other than that the lifestyle and scene out here will blow your mind but be careful because the fast life does exist out here and if you live it up too fast you just might burn yourself out and the results are never good ...
see that many casinos require hair tests... no way i can pass that. what about other security jobs, and other jobs in vegas. I like get into security which is where i have most my training. They most do urine tests?
Pretty much any security job anywhere is going to drug test at least once, most likely randomly as well. Especially in Vegas.
How's a toker survive in vegas work. Always stash of sentetic urine? Do they usually give you a few days or on the spot? Generally speaking. Doesn't sound toker friendly @ all
