thinking about getting mflb, battery life a possible dealbreaker

  1. Okay so lately I have been thinking a lot about getting a vape for a couple of good reasons. (uses way less bud to get high, barely any smell, the leftover weed can be re-used in edibles or hash) Anyway so I watched a review of the magic flight launch box on youtube because that one seems to be quite popular, but the guy said that the battery only lasts for 4-5 hits. He also sad that the charger that comes with the device takes 72 freakin hours to charge the damn battery. Now, I really want a good vape and i hear that the mflb is great, but i mean come on 4-5 tokes every 3 days just isnt going to cut it. Are there longer lasting batteries or faster chargers available? It looked like a specialized battery in the video so i dont think i can just use any AA battery. Anyway, I want to know from owners of the device, how do you cope with the shitty battery life?

  2. you could buy extra batterys

  3. Unless you want it on the go get and Extreme Q it's great. I got my mflb for 100 and my Extreme Q for 143 and the Q is waayyyyyyy better. I don't get ripped with my magic flight. The hits are just too small :[ I just keep taking hits. By the time I'm done it took so long to vape the bowl the high I get isnt intense at all. But the battery doesnt take long to charge at all

  4. bump (5chars)

  5. if you were to buy different batteries/charger what seem to be the most effective you guys are using.
what about on blisssville for 120$ they offer the mflb kit and 3 2500 (?) mah batteries, any word on these?

and do you guys get extremely high quickly/easily if you are trying to do so?

  6. I have absolutely no problem with the battery life of the Powerex 2400's that come with the MFLB... you'll get more than 5 hits out of a battery.. i get at least 2-3 trenches out of a battery.. From what i've read you're best off sticking with the Powerex brand as they are the closest to their actual rating.. I guess the 2400s push roughly 2100mah.. and I hear the Powerex 2700's are great for the mflb as well.. can get a 4 pack for like $12

  7. The battery lasts longer than that, but since you have 2 there's no point using one battery for too long.

It's also possible he's dumb and is burning his weed instead of vaping it.
He's either full of shit or he got ripped off. My batteries recharge in 45 or so minutes.

  8. there is actually an ac adapter that they just came out with. it supposedly increases the overall hit quality too

  9. Yeah.. But if you are gonna invest almost $200 into a vape that no longer is really portable.. ie: having to plug it into a power source.. you might as well buy an Extreme Q...

  10. Got mine three days ago, bought two extra batteries so I have 5. Really I think I have to many batteries. As for the small hits your doing it wrong.

  11. It takes practice to get really good hits out of the mflb.. I learned that I get the best hits by hitting it "native" ie: with no stem.. you can gauge how hot the box is getting easier.. and therefor draw appropriately..

With a "cold" box.. first hit.. i wait 5sec before drawing.. then draw steadily for 10-15sec.. let go of the battery and draw for an additional 2-3sec.. exhale large amount of vapor.. push battery back down.. draw after about 2ec... keep battery in.. draw for another 10sec... blow big vapor.. just gotta get the technique down.. takes a bit of practice.. but once you got it.. its golden

  12. Yeah.. But it would still portable when you need it to be.
