Here's my deal...moderately heavy smoker, but I only want the best shit and I'm spending too much money driving back/forth to collectives buying eighths at a time. Thinking about setting up a 4x4 tent, 600w HPS, air cooled hood etc. etc. What I'm most interested in is growing the frostiest, most powerful shit. I'm not looking to maximize yield at all, I don't want more than I can smoke myself, so I'd gladly take a stronger strain that doesn't yield as much. I don't even have anyone to share it with, but I can blow through an ounce every 2 weeks max, so I'd rather just do it myself...and don't want more than I can smoke myself. Have grown outdoors lots of times, but indoors is another ballgame. Also thinking about just buying clones and as soon as possible put them into flowering, this way I can keep cycling through new strains, because I also don't want ounces of the same stuff, I like variety! Does anyone else reading this do that? Should I run them on a veg schedule for some period of time to get them to adjust to their new environment before flowering? Next, medium. I'm inclined to just pop the rockwool clones straight into soil. Recommended? Thank you!
You can pop rockwool into soil! It works fine. And dude, if I had the opportunity to buy a new clone or two every grow, you bet your ass I would. Variety is the spice of life man! Definitely veg those ladies for a bit before you flower. If you've got that much room, ya might as well fill it out.
