THINK READY TO FLIP

Is it 4 weeks since breaking soil buddy ?? because its best to do a 1-2 week pre-veg from breaking soil then add 4 week veg time.

 

Depends on your available space, especially in terms of height. I veg 8 weeks which makes huge plants. Every additional week in veg will be a huge difference, they grow A LOT in the later weeks of veg.

If you go for big yield and space allows, I would veg longer

It also depends on your training. You can try to keep them as short as possible. I snapped some necks last night to reduce my overall canopy height. Usually I would use a trellis net to keep them down, but this grow I try without:



This one is my un-fimemd plant. The other 3 are fimmed. So this one needed some extra work, but still bend over nicely.

 

you can take it slow, but you seem to have healthy plants and a tiny cut on top and a little bit of LST is real easy and gives you so much more yield. Either way you will be pleased if you finish your grow

 

your plants look great! After your first plant, you will have a very good (basic) understanding of grow space and light.

its real easy, you have 3 stages. Seed to seedlings. veg phase, and then flower.

After you get seeds to sprout or clones "to grab" its all about space.

WHENEVER you decide to "flip" remember your plant will gain about double its size during the "stretch"
When you flip, your plant goes through a big growth spurt once you switch it to 12/12 and last for about 2 weeks. This is when your plants have a big growth spurt in relation to "flower mode". Once your plants do the flower "stretch" your plant will put all the energy into bud formation and then your plant will slowly grow up (as buds grow upward.)
So if you have a very small space, flip your plants now but if you can "afford" the space, let them grow as the yield will be much better.
Simply put, you can put your plant into flower or "flip" two weeks after it sprouts or 2 months after it sprouts, but a plant that got to grow for two months will obviously have a tremendous yield.
Read a few articles on people that grow a sea of green using plants that always grew in 12/12 (yes it can be done but with very low yields).
