Hi! Haven’t grown for a long time so bit outta practice. Think I have molybdenum deficiency in the train wreck and have over watered the raspberry cough. Probably have some nute burn too. Tv droopy one on left, tw one on right in pics below. Growing one train wreck and one raspberry cough both feminised. In soil. Did mix in bone meal and lime at start, but not sure if enough or too much. Under 200w viparspectra full spectrum light, 20 inches above canopy. Coming up to 11weeks. Flipped to 12/12 last weekend. Been long slow start. Cold and ph too low until I checked and corrected at about 5/6 weeks. Had about three feeds of tomato rite over past four weeks. Mistakenly over fed tomato rite last week(npk 4-3-8)(Ordered some advanced nutrients ph perfect, grow, micro and bloom to use soon) Ph now, raspberry cough 6.4 (droopy one)(I assume over watered), train wreck 6.6-6.8 (one with bronze between being tiger stripes) On a heat mat, soil temp avg circa 15/17*C. Air temp 17/18*C. Have drilled extra holes in bottom of pots as I think it wasn’t draining fully, indents with holes meant very bottom bit probably doggy, wet meter indicates this. Going back to once a week watering this week. Advices must gratefully received. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You need to bring your soil and air temperature up. 21c for soil 23c for air temperature minimum. Raspberry cough doesn't like heavy feedings. You may need to reduce your photo's file size to get it to down load. Also, we need a bit more information. What size pots are these 11 week old plants in? Has your water been tested and what growing medium are you using? What brand of medium and what specific blend?
Hi, thanks for info about temperature. Water is testing at ph 6.6 to 6.8. The soil is just normal potting soil. Trying other pics but still no luck. Not sure pot size but probably two and a bit gallons or 10 litres ish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sorry, some of my original message a bit gobbledygook. Autocorrect is a wanker. It had no problem with the word gobbledygook though… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
6.3-6.5 is a good pH to have for your irrigation water. 2 gallons of growing medium is very small unless you're using coco and running DTW. Or a soil and nutrient line that are designed to work together. Like Fox Farms or similar. Potting soil doesn't tell us much. Do you have the bag so we can see exactly what is in the medium you are using. Very few bagged potting mediums will grow a cannabis plant well. Any idea what your soil pH is?
The 6.6/6.8 is the train wreck and the one with the leaf that’s concerning me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Your pH seems fine. I'd venture to guess your plants are becoming root bound. If you're sure the soil and nutrients you are using are of high quality. I also noticed I do not see any aeration in your soil. Dense soil can cause a lack of oxygen to your roots causing similar issue to what your plants are displaying. I would pot those plants up into 5 gallons of growing medium or larger today. And add 30% aeration material such as perlite. You're only a week into flower. If you don't. I believe your plants will suffer for the entire flowering cycle and yield very little bud.
Right, they’re in pots that I’m guessing are about 4.5 gallons (much bigger!). They’re the Biggest I could get today and that make sense in the cupboard and fit on the heating mat. 30% vermiculite as suggested. They were becoming root bound, you were right about that. Mixed in some grit, lime and bone meal into new soil. Gave a good watering so plenty of runoff, (much quicker than before). Ph in both pots between 6.4 and 6.6 ish. Temperature could be better but much better than before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
