They Don't Drug Test??

  1. I have a friend who recently was employed by the state to work in the offices that deal with background checks/permit applications, etc. Through the whole interview process he was never once asked about drugs, or asked to perform a drug test. Now that he's hired, he says that people around the office claim they've never been tested at all (some have worked there 2+ years). We all tell him it's probably ok to smoke bud, as chances are if he stays low key they will never test him. It's not like he's toking up at work, just on the weekends to relax.

What's everybodies opinion on this? I would expect all state agencies to drug test, but he and a few co-workers claim they've never been tested at all. He's wondering if you think it's safe to smoke? Or why wouldn't this state agency drug test at all?

  2. I worked for the state and they never tested me. Technically its a commonwealth, but you dig.
