Our investigator Kees_67 found this headline in one of the largest national Dutch newspapers, stating: The FBI is seriously afraid of a major terror attack in the US in the near future. Dated July 12th, 2001, two months prior to the september 11th attacks.
AAH! German! I don't doubt that we had some incling that something was going to happen. I can't bring myself to believe that we knew the specifics and did nothing about it though. My wife received an email that warned of an attack on a shopping malls on Oct. 31. Supposedly from a love letter from an arabic man who left his wife here in the states. He said that he'd never see her again and to please not fly on Sep. 11 or go to any shopping malls on Oct. 31. Scary! I heard a lovely "poem" on the radio the other morning. I wish I could remember it all, but it was bleeped out a lot because it was really raunchy! I'll see if I can find it in it's entirety. The last line said something to the effect of: Smashing Osama's balls with a big brass hammer (CRINGE while crossing my legs) until his asshole whistles the Star Spangled Banner. I'm waiting for somebody to rewrite the lyrics to "Oh, Donna".
Of course they knew it was possibly going to happen,,but it wasn't about drugs...so why would they worry about it. If they would have used the word drugs,,they would have been stopped...go figure
Thanks Kees! And my apologies to the Dutch for mistaking their language for German. They do look a lot alike! I once worked with a German lady who said that I'd better not mistake Dutch for German while in the presence of a Dutch person. I guess they don't like that. I agree, Ndica. If they would have said they were going to topple the world trade towers... while smoking a joint.... I'm sure something would have been done about it.
