  1. Coffee may give you schizophrenia

    http://www.doctoryourself.com/caffeine_allergy.html

"[…] With the upswing of "chemical imbalance" disorders that surfaced in the latter twentieth century, many researchers frantically attempt to unravel the brain's intricate clockworks. In turn, as the number of persons suffering with mental issues mount, it seems that doctors, pressed for time, are quick to refer patients to psychiatrists. Failing to request a medical physical, many psychiatrists hand out medications, often masking the underlying physical problem.
    [….]
Mentioned in a 1936 article by Drs. McManamy and Schube, a young woman, allergic to caffeine, presented with alternating states of delirium and mania, resembling schizophrenia (1). After the recorded case, allergy documentation becomes rare. And not surprisingly.
The drug's stimulating properties masks its allergic symptoms. Circulating adrenaline (epinephrine) increases in caffeine consuming persons (2,3). In its synthetic form, epinephrine is the drug of choice for anaphylactic reactions, halting allergic reactions. But added to a stimulant reaction, excess adrenaline may induce delusions. And the breakdown of some adrenaline byproducts mimics symptoms of schizophrenia (4). […]"

  2. Eating chocolate will make you unfertile

    http://www.chocolate.org/theobromine.html

"The toxicities of theobromine and cocoa extract on the reproductive tract of male rats were compared in the present study. A cocoa powder extract containing 117 mg theobromine/g extract was prepared using 85% boiling methanol. Sprague-Dawley rats were weighed and dosed daily for 31 days with vehicle, 250 mg/kg theobromine, 2.14 g/kg cocoa extract (117 mg theobromine/g extract), or 0.43 g/kg cocoa extract by oral gavage. The animals were sacrificed on day 32. One testis and epididymis were removed and weighed. The epididymis was saved for the determination of epididymal sperm reserves. The remaining testis was fixed by whole body glutaraldehyde perfusion and processed for morphologic examination. A decrease in body weight gain and epididymal weights were observed in theobromine and high-dose cocoa-extract-treated groups. Theobromine and high-dose cocoa extract caused vacuolation within the Sertoli cell, abnormally shaped spermatids, and failed release of late spermatids in treated animals. Most of the vacuolations were found in the earlier and middle stage seminiferous tubules (stages I to VIII). However, the frequency of some parameters of testis alterations were significantly lower in the high-dose cocoa-extract-treated group compared to the theobromine-treated group. These data demonstrate the ability of a cocoa extract containing theobromine to alter testis structure in a similar pattern but with reduced intensity compared to that observed after oral exposure to pure theobromine."

    • Like Like x 1
  7. seems like whatever you do in this world it will eventually kill u

  8. the key to longevity is moderation... too much of anything will probably kill you.
it seems even "living" is not exempt from this rule... so be careful ;)

NOTE: I'm not sure any amount of toilet paper rolls could directly kill you... maybe if the pile was so massive you were stuck in it, and couldn't find food or water...

  9. dont breath, theirs chemicals in the air that can cause cancer. You better get a good resperator that can filter out everything too just to be safe. Or better yet you can wear a bio suit with posative air pressure in it so it's impossible to get in contact with something that might kill you.

  10. Fuck! I Like sugar - of all things really.. It just looks like im really pretty frikkin screwed. Damn Damn Damn...

  11. Who cares. Are you all dead?
Why live life if you can't do shit. It's like why we smoke, we know that smoking is bad for you period, but it makes us feel good so we don't stop. So why stop these other things?

  12. Soy May Cause Cancer and Brain Damage

    check :http://www.mercola.com/2000/aug/20/soy_dangers.htm

Two senior US government scientists, Drs. Daniel Doerge and Daniel Sheehan, have revealed that chemicals in soy could increase the risk of breast cancer in women, brain damage in both men and women, and abnormalities in infants.

The scientists decided to break ranks with colleagues in the FDA and oppose its decision last year to approve a health claim that soy reduced the risk of heart disease.

They wrote an internal protest letter warning of 28 studies revealing toxic effects of soy, mostly focusing on chemicals in soy known as isoflavones, which have effects similar to the female hormone estrogen.

They claim that research has shown a clear link between soy and the potential for adverse effects in humans.

Soy may lead to health problems in animals including altering sexual development of fetuses and causing thyroid disorders.

Some studies show that chemicals in soy may increase the chances of estrogen-dependent breast cancer.

    According to their letter:

'There is abundant evidence that some of the isoflavones found in soy demonstrate toxicity in estrogen sensitive tissues and in the thyroid.'

'During pregnancy in humans, isoflavones per se could be a risk factor for abnormal brain and reproductive tract development.'

  13. Breast feeding is bad!

    check: http://www.mercola.com/2001/dec/12/breast_milk.htm

A new class of toxic chemicals has been discovered in breast milk, in human blood, in food, in remote rural air, in wild fish, and in the sewage sludge being applied as fertilizer on food crops across the U.S.

A Canadian health official recently summed up the discovery saying, "This stuff is everywhere."[1]

The newly-discovered contaminants are brominated flame retardants. Bromine is a highly-reactive chemical element, a halogen in the same class as chlorine and iodine.

Worldwide, eight chemical corporations manufacture about 300 million pounds of brominated fire retardants each year, of which about 80 million pounds are members of the class known as polybromo diphenyl ethers, or PBDEs.[2]

Although all brominated fire retardants seem capable of creating environment and health problems, here we will focus on PBDEs, which leach into the environment from the plastics in appliances, TVs and computers, foam in upholstery, and the fabrics of carpets and draperies. Many hard styrene plastics and many foam padding materials are 5% to 30% PBDE by weight.

Like their cousin PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), many PBDEs persist for years in the environment, accumulate in the food chain and concentrate in fatty tissues. A recent survey of the PBDE literature revealed that some PBDEs can cause cancer, interfere with hormones, and disrupt normal growth and development
