12 or 16, she still one. I say let her keep the metals. The Olympics shouldn't be about age, but about skill. It is kind of low though going into the competition knowing that you are already breaking the rules, and try to fool the world.
hahahahaha, funny as fuck, man. harsh, but funny. but i agree with that dude who says hes from china.. i dun think these girls have much of a choice whether or not they compete in the olympics. i heard that one of the girls was taken from her family at the age of 3 just so she could be trained for the games all of her life. and then a few weeks before the olympics, she decided she didnt want anything to do with it anymore. so she went home to her family but they rejected her and told her that she needed to win so they could get money.. how fucked up is that? so yeah, i wouldnt go so far as to call em bitches, but they definitely shouldnt be in the olympics. not yet, at least.
How many thirty-year-old gymnasts do you see? You get older, you get less flexible. I know next to nothing about gymnastics, but even I know that Olympic gymnasts are basically washed up by 17.

I kind of agree, but I have more of a problem with if OP calling those girls "bitch"... as if they really had a choice in what their government did to get them into the Olympics. But I have a problem with people using a name for an animal to describe a girl/woman who hasn't proven herself to be that word. They performed and won, just as they were told, the rest should be pegged on the Chinese government and the trainers for putting the girls though this. I think people need to get off their proverbial "rag" and stop taking the Olympics so seriously. I mean, what about the Olympics REALLY MATTER? Think about it. The Olympics are about as important as a high school football game, except its sponsored by corrupt companies who support China's abuse on their people. But thats all I have to say on the matter.

A smaller body is easier to maneuver in some instances. Younger gymnasts have probably had less injuries, less wear and tear. It's also to prevent injuries from over-training at too young of an age. Their youth isn't an obstacle that makes their victory better, it's an advantage over the 16-year-olds who are bigger and have probably gone through puberty.
