Hello all!! I've been a member for a few years now. Although, I've spent a bit of time browsing the forums, I don't think I've ever posted. So least to say I'm pretty new here. I'm looking to have some fun (while being pretty cheap) with a couple seeds I got out of a bag. I threw them in a cup of water yesterday day and dropped them in some soil today. I'm going to be using ffof (which has been in pots outside since last year and kind of a concern of mine). Got them in solo cups in the window with a heating pad on medium for now. Will also be using advanced nutrients iguana juice notes (from last year as well) as well as sensi Cal grow. Again like I said I'm extreme novice. I plan to update often and appreciate all the feedback and advice I can get.. Thanks in advance and happy grow season to all!!

Jus dawned on me.. The growing medium is 1/3 light warrior

  3. I start in 3x3x3 inch regular nursery cups just half full so when they do the initial stretch they always do you can just top up the cup to support the tiny thing..

  4. Nice to know and thanks a ton for the input. Will definitely keep in mind for next go. I probably shouldn't mess with them at this point? Also, weather permitting, how soon can they go outside in full sun?

Had some running around to do today, when I got home notice they had been pretty busy while I was gone. One had shed it's shell the other needed the gentlest of helping off. Also notice the cups felt a bit light. Watered 10 ml at a time until I had the slightest run off. Ended up being 60 ml in either cup. I've got them in the window with a fan about 4 feet away. I think I remember reading somewhere seedlings shouldn't be in the window nor have a fan. I just assume since they will be going outside (I'd like to get them out ASAP) it's better to get them acclimated to the "elements". Any thoughts or suggests are greatly appreciated and welcomed.

    Happy growing,

This one was bent and folded over yesterday after losing the seed casing. I thought within a few hours it'd be standing up.. Still not and it's been about 24 hours. It appears as tho the first set of leaves is still growing. Just really confused why it hasn't stood up yet. Any thoughts?

    Happy growing,

  8. I've never had the full sun damage a plant of any size as long as the cup or pot it's in doesn't get hot.. I wrap the cups with a white towel or block the sun with a board from directly shining on the pot..

TR.. It should stand up on it's own at that small if it doesn't a stone or toothpick and a very soft touch.. A bit today and more the next..
Next time start them in a half filled cup so when they do that initial stretch you can just add more soil to support the stem till it firms up..
