Thermostatic controlled variable speed fan control - Anyone used this one?

  1. Hey, I have been looking for a vaiable speed fan control that is regulated by temperature so that I can keep a minimun fan speed for my scrubber at all times but automatically increase fan speed as temp rises.

    I finally found one!!!!

    Variable Temperature Control (VTC-1D)

One of our most popular variable speed fan controls

The Variable Temperature Control (VTC-1D) automatically controls the temperature in a room by adjusting the speed of variable speed fans.
When the temperature is at the temperature set point, the VTC-1D operates the fans at the idle speed setting. When the temperature exceeds the set point, the VTC-1D increases the speed. When the temperature drops below the set point, the VTC-1D shuts off the fans (in shut-off mode) or operates the fans at idle speed (idle mode).
The VTC-1D is ideal for poultry, livestock, greenhouse, or light-industrial buildings.

Looks like a pretty sweet unit!!!! About $210 US though, but cool none the less.

Anyone used one of these or anything similar?

    How well do they work?

Any other units like this you'd recommend instead?

    Thanks,

    Joe

  2. Yeah, my wife would be pretty pissed off if I burned down the house with some homemade gizmo!!!

I'll stick to the pre-wired stuff.

  3. can also look into www.newegg.com they have great fan controllers with digi outputs as well as thermostats.
