I am sitting here, a bit stoned and bored. I decide I am going to play some Counterstrike. I get my music together and press play. I get steam running and I enter a server. As I enter a server it starts to play music as you enter (slipknot- duality), nothing out of the ordinary so far. Well I had to download the map so the song was going to play for a while and interfere with my music so I decide to switch servers. I exited the server expecting the music to stop... it doesn't. I think maybe my music player is just messing up so I pause the music and then press play and then enter counterstrike again thinking it will make the music stop, but it doesn't. So I exit out of counterstrike expecting the music to stop, yet again I am proven wrong. I then exit out of my music player, and the music is still playing. I exited out of everything to where I had nothing running.... and the music was still playing. What. The. Hell.
Yeh i've heard of computer ghosts they had to pay some professional to remove them. Check the yellow pages.
Well... I just tried to enter another server and it does it again. I don't hate the song but it's annoying the shit out of me right now. I just want to chill to some Sage Francis and this shit is playing.
Only thing I can think of is theres a background program running you'll have to cancel through CTRLALT Del or the server downloaded a mod which has an ingame player that you'll need to turn off the script in the console
And you are 100% wrong. Even if there were a CD in there it would stop playing once I exited the server.
