I didn't know which section to post in so yeah.. mod feel free to redirect anyways... I enjoy partaking in this sacred herb alot, however I view ganja as more of a quasi-meditative/ contemplative medicine and tool. Not like my friends who just smoke to "Get f'd up". Therefore, I don't enjoy blazing with them because I don't get the same experience. I find that I view things and life in general in deeper terms and everything is more meaningful to me. Am I wrong for feeling like this? Why do I view things this way? Thanks
You are not wrong one bit! In fact, I see you as unique. Use the herb as YOU see fit, not others. Just be you man.
That's exactly how I used to smoke weed before I quit... It is simply a sign of intellect and it is a sign that your consciousness is starting to realize the mystery of our existence, and the beauty, as well as the strangeness of the aforementioned mystery. Most people I knew just wanted to get high... but I used it as an introspective tool and a spiritual device for seeing the world in a different light, for expanding the potential viewpoint of my consciousness. Every time before I smoked I would show the weed a sign of respect and specify my intentions for the weed to help me see the world in a new light, and to allow me to gain insight on the nature of reality. Then I would smoke as if it were a meditative practice, focusing all my awareness on the act of smoking, going through the motions slowly and steadily. Then I would either meditate or go about my day with a meditative mindset. These days I find weed hinders me spiritually and meditatively more than it helps me but different strokes for different folks. Some people are at a point in life where weed is beneficial to them, I personally feel I am no longer at that stage in my own life. It makes me happy to see others using weed in a meaningful and enlightening way like yourself.
People who use any mind altering substances to get fucked up, clearly do not understand this world before them. I see MJ as something to respect for it's introverted teachings. I've learned a lot about myself through it, and continue to every day. It has impacted my life, opened my eyes and ears to the play around me.
Exactly. MJ has made trivial things more meaningful and just heightened my perspective on life. If people would use things as intended, bad examples would be relatively nonexistent(my opinion)Â
