I read somewhere that waiting is just a part of the exciting and action packed world of watching plants grow.
that's just a single plant in a 3.5 gallon pot. i have 7 more, but looking down on the guys... oops... i mean gals... this'n seemed the purdiest this morning. i did let one hermaphrodite mature last year and got about 100 seeds after about going through 1/3 of last year's harvest so far. was thinking there would be more but satisfied with what i got. having enough seeds for more than a decade of growing seasons now, anything but a female will hit the "recycle" bin this year.
oh well... looks like i have ID'ed the first male. what do you think...? fingers crossed, but three others the same age show no signs like this.
it was gone about 10 minutes after that picture. sadly it was one of the nicest shaped plants... though, aren't they all... . hard to see any plant go into the mulch box.
