I just ref'd you in a 'light recommendation' thread. Guys looking to increase lighting between 4x96s. I drew him out a schematic... and maybe I should use it over here to try it out...
NICE! and btw I am re-heatsinking my 4 strips atm, just about to go drill some holes. I am going to use 4 strips and line my 2x4 tent with 2 on each long edge and have an 800 diode board in the middle I'm also in the process of finishing up a diode project... I think you would like some of my findings. I'm becoming less paranoid just buying diodes and heating them up onto star heatsinks... kinda fun. So, soon I will add some little red boards in my tent as well... pretty well all DIY fun stuff.
just finished... now I'm scared to power them up using the same rails as all my other lights. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and spend a couple hundred on upgrading my electrical to 220V split phase. House wiring wasn't designed for what I'm pushing. I think its just wiser to set up a 30A fused line the other way so that's probably my next project now. I'm finding lots of cool accessories for the din rail gear way of doing it... more electrical for me in the near future!
ok I stop being a wuss and tied them in. In fact, I am shocked with how much I can turn back the 800 board to maintain ~50-60K lux in the entire tent. The lights I've added don't really have a dimmer, they are on an A-type driver, so its built in, but I think I will just leave them alone and play with the 800. I didn't turn off the lights and my scrog is only 2 days old, so don't mind the mess: The lux is consistent over the tent now. It will be something else when I get those red diode put together.... imma go solder those next. Guessimating that the 800 is about 1/2 (or less) power.

that'll be too long, won't it? If you are basing the chop off pistils, then wait until ~70% go amber. If you are finishing up, give it higher K and P and low N.
Only using megacrop nutes, its all in 1. Ill heck pistols today then and likely flush daily for 3 to 5 days and chop. Just dont wanna chop to early. If its a couch lock meds. Thats ok with me. Sent from my screen to yours!
