  2. CDA day 99. I did the last bit of wrangling today. She's in her final shape. I started her flush on Friday. She's still swelling. Foxtails aren't too bad and they're staying fairly short and thick, not getting long and stringy. I'll start looking at trics on Friday.

I've got what looks like seeds forming on a lower branch that I pulled into the light today. I haven't seen any bananas, but there must be something somewhere.
Here's a question for the more experienced growers.... Say you have a mother plant, in veg, but showing preflowers at node joints. Is it possible for her to herm/rodelize and pop male preflowers? and if so, would they produce pollen?

  5. Your plants look awesome, as usual! I'm not an expert at this by any stretch of the imagination but to my knowledge there are reputable seed banks in Amsterdam that literally take their females longer than they should and this causes the female plant to produce pollen and seeds which come out female. The pollen is also "female pollen" and they use that to pollinate other females to make seeds that make "feminized" seeds. So, in this case, if you were to take this plant a lot longer than it wants to, then it's defenses should kick in and in an effort to preserve it's bloodline, with a lack of a better way of putting it, then it should produce pollen and try to self-pollinate itself. If you were to take a paintbrush and put some of the pollen on the tip of the brush and pollinate another auto with that pollen then you would have a cross of CDAx"?" auto; or if they were two female plants then you'd have CDx"?" female seeds. I hope this makes sense, lol.

  8. You're describing rodelization. I'm familiar with the literature behind it. I haven't seen any bananas/stamens anywhere. That doesn't mean they're not there.....just that I haven't been able to find them. Obviously, if I'm getting seeds then there has to be pollen coming from somewhere. I'm just not sure where. Rodelization is the most likely cause. I've stressed her enough ;) Heavy defoliation(s), supercropping, lollipoping and PK boosting. All high stress grow techniques. Top that off with high heat. I'm probably lucky she's not dropping balls all over! lol!!

  12. Yes, it's the Candy Dawg. The last three pictures in my update post show what looks like seeds forming.

  14. Im smoking on a test bud i took down a few days ago and its definitely some of the best tasting buds I've grown thus far. The high don't match the trics tho. The high is perfect but the trics don't look ready. I would say they are 50 cloudy 45 clear and 5 amber. Think I'm going to push it 5 more days to day 102 and call it.

  15. Today she is 74 days old. I guess she doesn't look as bad as I thought she would turn out. She has a little more growth to go but for the most part I guess I can't really complain. More than likely I'll be taking that wire off of the broken branch someday soon just to see if she would be able to hold that branch up or not. Otherwise, I think maybe another couple of weeks to go? What do y'all think?

Thanks for looking and if you leave any comments I appreciate that too.

  17. Hey brothers, just wondering if you think this is good enough to cut down. I completely understand the concept of the tricomes and that it is preference. I want. To know if it is ready to be effective tricomes are deffinatly cloudy? Couple of close ups with the phone so you wont be able to see great but I put a pic of the whole plants so you can get an idea of where it is at.

  18. Looks about where I'm at. I was told mine was ready. I was going to just cut the main, but then I got in the zone and decided fucit...I'm over it. Made it 99 days. Up to 400 something wet weight still maybe 2-300 still to chop

  19. 601g wet weight..I guess it will dry up to a lil over 5oz. Still have a few smaller nugs on the plant too. I'll post dry weight in a few days. The scissor hash is bananas, and I'm overall impressed with the density. Thinking this one is a winner. 20190719_103458.jpg
