  2. This reminds me of that preacher who said the protein Laminin resembles a cross, proving Christianity because god put little crosses in our bodies.

    Stuff just looks similar and our brains in a desperate attempt to create sense, links the two together.

  6. I think both of those images are of empty space, with a physical phenomenon occurring in the lens superimposed over the empty space and the resulting image is in fact completely a result of the observation and without it nothing would have even been there.

    Think about it man, an atom is like 99% empty space, so if you're lookin that close, chances are that's what you'd see. Empty space, with a defect in optical engineering superimposed on nothing, resulting in flawed correlations throughout the entirety of observational science.
