The ultimate joint

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by gizmoguy, Feb 21, 2010.

  1. I know that some people save their roaches, and then smoke a whole jay of roaches, because the roach collects some of the smoke/resin and is stronger. I was thinking, why not do this FOREVER! Smoke a jay, save the roaches. When you have enough, make a jay of roaches. Than, save THAT roach, and make a second generation roach jay, and so on. Pass it down through your family, until you have like a hundredth generation roach joint. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Assuming it takes n roaches to make a roach joint, you'll need to smoke n jays for a first generation RJ, n^2 (that's n squared folks) for a second generation RJ, and so on. Basically:

joints you need to smoke = number of roaches per roach joint ^ generation of roach jay

e.g. to make a first generation roach jay with 5 roaches per RJ, you need 5^1 = 5 joints smoked, saving the roach each time.

Instead of "number of roaches per roach joint" you can also use the reciprocal of the amount of the joint you call the roach (e.g. if 1/5th of your joint is the roach, the number of roaches needed to make a whole joint is 5/1 = 5).

You might want to get a screw box or a pill box with lots of separate compartments, for storing your roaches of different generations.

  2. this definately is not a new idea

  3. A good idea none the less. Also one I am yet to start. I'll start smokin j's more often and vacum seal the 1st gens and 2nd gens and 3rd. I doubt id ever make it past 3rd...ever. Id get dry and smoke it haha.

  4. i do the same with blunts and when im dry that i got a whole pickel jar full of roaches[IMG]

  5. not a hater but dont roaches go bad after a week? I never smoked a roach more than a day old. I either throw it or smoke in the bowl in my pocket right after. Or...

These are at the local headshop for 99 cents. The have a wire and are translucent.

  6. been doing this for years
glass jar keeps them fresh and squishy
furthest we ever got was 6th gen

  7. my doobie ashtray

  8. why would a roach "go bad"?

  9. Not sure that just what I have been told. I told you my roached dont last very long till they are in a bong or a bowl. :smoking:

  10. the cannabinoids in bud do start to turn into non-psychoactive substances after about a year, i think it's called thb or something like that, but not a week.

    likewise :D

  11. Actually the roaches might go bad. Thc does degrade after a while. It probably begins to degrade in a year. But if it's been heated (like a resin soaked roach) then the actual thc content might have a very short shelf life. I don't know, I've never really thought about it.

At any rate the original idea is pretty nasty I think. But if you like that you should get a "chamber pipe". They are less than 20 dollars and last forever. They were huge in the '80s. It's like a regular metal pipe but has a chamber in the stem of the pipe that you stash your weed in. The smoke passes over all the bud in the stem and cools it down a lot too. Sort of a like a filter but instead of getting a filter gummed up with resin you get weed gummed up with resin.

If you bought an ounce you'd stash about a dime bag in the chamber and smoke it when you ran out of everything else.
I've seen some chamber pipes emptied after a few ounces had been smoked through them. Super resin coated. Way more than a joint could do.

  12. This idea seems nasty... The tarry weed will just get even tarrier through generations, eventually it will be a black nasty ball of tar.

  13. cool idea, i haven't seen any of those anywhere

  14. even though it sounds exceptionally disgusting...I would definitely use a chamber pipe. A chamber bong no doubt. That would just be so awesome, after like a month..It would be epic, a bunch of friends over and shit, you pull out the chamber weed, and no one can touch it without gloves on cause they would get everything all fuckin covered in res. The bong tokes off that weed would most certainly be bong tokes of the 'kill a small baby' variety. They would be epic. I want one!

  15. :eek::hello::D:smoking:

  16. i pulled out the screen in my vaporizer whip and put a bud in there. its been there since i got it like 4 months ago looks like shwag now lol

    Metal Chamber Pipe - Dutch - Grasscity.com

Five dollars and ten cents right here on grass city. I had mine given to me second hand. I was told it was real old when I got it and I eventually gave it away too. I like to think it's still out there being passed around.

One thing about them. If you buy one you will have it until you lose it. They don't break. They come in lots of different pipe sizes and shapes and chamber sizes. If you want to attach it to a bong you just have to unscrew the mouthpiece part, and screw it onto a metal downstem to a bong like most acrylic bongs have.

  18. I used to go to school with a guy who would do this with cigarettes. Nasty shit I'd bet.
As for the roaches I just load them into a bowl when I'm done to finish them off.

  19. y'know, the funny the is i have seen those before, as a matter of fact, i have smoked out of one before and i just didn't know it . My relative smoked me up one time and i just thought it was a regular pipe lol.
