I never really understood the trend of putting a picture of yourself as a baby as the profile pic(especially for long periods of time), it seems like some of the people are making up for what they look like now by putting up a picture of themselves as a child, either that or attention. I'm not saying theres anything wrong with having a picture of you as a child up there. I also never get why people take reeeeeeeally close up pictures of their face looking into the lens, it gives me the impression that I am in a fish bowl and they're looking at me or something. No one wants to see your face THAT close up. Also it seems like people still don't realize that whatever they post on other peoples profiles, all of their friends could see.. So its kinda weird to see people posting weird creepy stalker-like comments, kinda relative to that one commercial where that guy kept texting this girl and eventually asked for nudes. They say people only project 10% of their true selves when you meet them, at the same time its easier to express yourself over the internet. I feel like not enough people really know that yet so they continually express themselves on FB in a way that they themselves would probably consider as a bit creepy
I have to agree that there are some strange behaviors that take place on FB, but then again...You are referring to humans managing their profile...People are people!!! The only thing that really irritates me about FB are the individuals that update their status every 1 min or re-post everything they see and flood your News Feed. I have a friend who posted what seemed like every play in every game of March Madness! WTF...Please...Or I have another friend that literally posts photos of what they are eating 3-5 times a day! Nothing is that interesting about his foodie photos every day. The silver lining? Members that think like us and the "UNSUBSCRIBE" button next to everybody's posts. TGIF Blades!

I just use fb to keep in touch with friends that are far away. post a vid now and then, but not much else.
