The struggle is Real

  1. Guys, I just want to share my story.

I currently have $3 dollars to my name. I used all money to move to the beach and here Iam. For the past week I stayed in a decent hotel that gave me a nice break.
Im currently job hunting, and I dont care what it is. Im chasing a dream. I need about $1,000 to start my own business and never look back.
I have vowed to never be someones employee again. But first I need that money.
Everything is ready. My idea. The groundwork, the product, I have everything ready. I just need the money.

But I'm sincerely alone in this world. No fam, no friends, nada.
So, since I been here I started looking for a place to stay. I found a guy who's willing to rent me a room for 20 bucks a week. The downside, it has no window. Theres a blanket on the frame currently. But its a block from the beach. The guy is a musician and says that in the room next to the one he wants to rent, a reporter lives there. An advocate for the legalization of marijuana. She wasnt there when I went to look at the place.

Anyway, the stress is killing me. Im one disillusion away from a nervous breakdown. I left everything behind to try and chase a dream. But the shit is looking dark.
Sometimes I feel that I should just call my parents and go back home. With my tail between my legs. But I refuse. I have to come back home with something in my hand.
So I'm just hanging in there. The struggle. Its so real. I hope that if u read this you can say a small prayer for me. All I need is one opportunity, one break. Something, anything. And I believe collective prayer can help.
Im not waiting for a miracle or a hand out. I just need to meet the right people. And you wont believe the thousands I have met. Literally, thousands of people during my journey. And the saddest part is that I have yet to meet one that is chasing a dream, like myself. No one cares and no one wants to be part of the struggle. But I trust in God that I will make it. (Thats when everyone I have asked for help will come around).
    Pray for me

  4. I think it's awesome your chasing your dream. Many of us lose site of our dreams and then even forget what they were as time goes on. I'm sending you positive vibes and will pray for you.
    :smokin:

  5. Thanks guys for the love, seriously.

Aside from all the negative folks, there are always positive people around.
    Thank you

  6. Idk what you are worried about most.

If its about security, a place to stay, food, etc, like you said, you can always go back to your parents, so you have nothing to worry about there.

If youre worried about not completing your dream, and youre thinking about giving up after all the time, effort and resources youve spent so far... then youre dumb and dont deserve your dream.

You know what you have to do. Youll get there in time.

  7. Nah, Im not worried about anything.

Im just saying that this shit is real. Im in a hotel room living off saltine crackers and bbq sauce.
All im saying is that chasing a dream is a struggle, and sometimes it gets so dark you cant see any light.
Im not afraid of anything or shit hitting the fan. I was simply asking for a collective prayer. I need to meet the right people. Thats all.

  8. I'll def keep u in my thoughts..like u I'm a dreamer myself & know how that is to want something so bad, no matter how hard it gets we just have to keep on because eventually the wait will be worth it. If you want this bad enough then hang in there, just please stay safe..

  9. Thanks man. When I set out on the journey, I had no idea what was in store. In a weird way, Im enjoying every minute of it just because Im doing what I said I would do. Thanks for the prayer

    Ahh, thats awesome.
I have met a thousand and one girls in the past 3yrs and all of them only want part in the success, nver understand the struggle.

  10. sell your computer and shut off your internet, theres some money right there go to food banks etc keep on it

  11. I would. Except im on my broken iphone 3gs, its 5yrs old with a cracked screen and a non working speaker. And on the hotel's wifi.
Im thinking of going out tomorrow to look at some waiter jobs. Gotta hustle

  12. You should be very proud of yourself. It takes a lot of guts to go after your dream like that. Things might suck now, but good things happen to good people, and I know it will get a lot better for you!

  13. Thanks. Looking forward to those days. "MADE IN CHINA" labels on the products that should make me rich.

  14. Man I feel you on so much levels. Mad respect for going out and chasing your dreams.. not many people do that nowadays. I'm gonna be in the same boat next year if all goes well..

May I ask, what exactly is your dream?

  15. My dream is to own my own business.
I want to sell a product, but Im going to produce it myself. No middle men.
Hopefully, if all goes well, i can turn a 600% profit on it. I just need the start up money. When I get that, its on like donkey kong

  16. Good luck with your ventures brother. I respect the initiative you have to reach your goal..

    Good vibes coming your way

  17. Thank you. I really need that. Thank you.

  18. Cannabis will not solve your problems my friend.

  19. Sure wont. Which is why I am also resolved to not buy weed again.
The few times I have smoked recently have been from hook ups and lucky chances that people have bummed me some bud.
My smoking will wait until I grow my own.

  20. When it's at it's darkest it only takes a small amount of light to see. Keep calm and carry on, good luck man.
