After I have germinated my seeds and the seedlings are strong enough to be moved (about 2 weeks i think), is it possible to move them from there pots straight into the ground? If this is possible, can someone show me a guide on how to do this without ruining the seedling. When they are in the ground, basically its a cake walk from there right? I have to water every 4-5 days, checking my ph before I water them of course. Ill also be buying ladybug eggs to protect from insects and ill be pissing all around my plants to fend off deer.( i heard it works ) ^ Is that all the next step after germination is? If im horribly wrong and theres alot more to it, someone please correct me. Keep in mind, my plants will not be in pots, but planted directly into the ground if this is possible.
....dig a whole.....add your preffered soil mix....or use dirt from ground if suitable ( ie not clay ) and then transfer....
All you have to do really is protect the roots. They're at their most fragile point right now. Check out overgrow.com or marijuanagrowing.com they're really helpful. I got books from borders and they help all the time.
Pissing to get rid of deer will work for a little while, but they are smart creatures and will adapt. Read my Bug and Pests guide. http://forum.grasscity.com/sick-plants-problems/218625-gigz-16-s-pests-insects-guide.html
transplanting is easier right about when the roots are close to outgrowing the container. the roots hold all the dirt together. when you are ready to transplant, you just kinda put your palm over the top of the dirt and then turn the pot upside down, gently shaking it. the whole root ball will come out and just put it in a hole already pre-dug about the size of the root ball, with maybe a little extra room to cover some of the stem with soil if it stretched a bit for support.
is it safe to release the rooting system once you are about to transplant? I mean when you take the plant outside of the seedling pot and you just gently shake the roots with your hand so that the root system is more set-up and organized to better dig into the new ground. I have messed up a transplantation a couple of years ago and when I carefully took the plant out of the pot but it fell into a shock state and it took two weeks to recover it. then I tried to un-tie the root system on a second plant before I have put it in and it worked better. just free the lower root portion of soil so that the root system can penetrate new soil more easily. if anyone has objection feel free to express them. I am only saying
