"the spins"

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by thatkid420, Jan 26, 2011.

  1. So me and a few friends were thinking today, what actually causes "the spins" as we call it round me. it's like that feeling you get when you spin around fast and then stop and go in the opposite direction. So what do you guys think makes you get it?

  2. The workings of your inner ear.

  3. Dope shit like that jerm.

  4. Smoking more than you can tolerate.
I used to get the spins when I first started smoking, because I'd smoke bowl after bowl after bowl. Nowadays, I couldn't get the spins from smoking if I tried.
I still get the spins if I drink too much and then smoke, though.

  5. I don't know, I've been smokin on the daily for years and i still get 'em from time to time when im laying down or just veggin out on a couch.

  6. then that's probably cos since you aren't moving around the high's all going to your head. that's how I feel sometimes if I get baked but don't do anything.

Just move around and it spreads more to your body as well

  7. I heard somewhere that if you lie down (on a bed) and put one foot on the ground that it goes away. never tried it though.

edit: epic 420th post comming soon!

  8. Funny this thread comes up ten min after I'm done puking my guts out after the bars... Smoked a fat bong hit and got the spins big timeeeeeeeeeee right now.
I'll post an update on wtf happened if i remember.

  11. I HATE that! That's usually what makes me throw up when I'm too high - it feels like motion sickness from the slightest movement of my head.

  12. I rather enjoy them actually. It's one of my favorite parts of smoking, just sitting/laying and feeling like I'm skydiving.

In fact, when I snowboard high, I always love the rides up the high speed chairlifts, I honestly feel like I'm Falling into Infinity.

  13. yeaa i get that too, blaze everyday but sometimes when im just laying chillen the spins start to work their magic
