Hey city so im curious: Would four plants in a 4x3x4ft room smell a whole lot? They would be in a closet with a closed door. I'm not very concerned about it stinking up my house at all, but i am afraid the smell may somehow go through the connecting wall and some how dank up what ever room my neighbour has connected to my closet. The house is semi detached so we share the one wall with them. Like I said I could care less if my house smelt of the blessed sent of cannabis but I am very afraid my neighbours might smell it and snitch to the cops (the wife being a preacher at the local church).. Any ideas?
Carbon filter forsure. I had two small plants, under 2ft tall and by mid flowering they stunk up my whole upstairs. On a few occasions I have even smelled them from outside my house in the dead of winter. They will stink
Depending on strain, 4 may not smell at all or they may wreak like no tomorrow. A carbon filter is a must in my opinion.
Alright thanks for the tips guys. I was hoping a carbon filter wasent needed. Thats another $250 investment lol

Carbon filter= exhaust fan, mesh container, activated carbon, and pantyhose. Sorry i can't post the link
You can get a 6" inline can-type fan with scrubber for less than $150 shipped. Add $25 for speed controller, $20 for your ducting and you have a complete odor management solution for under $200. Less if you want a 4" solution (but 6" is probably quieter). It's a solid investment. Much cheaper than saving for bail money. Of all the infighting among growers, I think you'll find the one thing they almost always agree with is that odor control is paramount. Gruntly
One strong, healthy plant with good genetics will stink up your whole house. So yea you gotta do something, carbon filter, or at least a ONA bucket.
I have two plants right now. They were emitting some really strong smells before I even put them into 12/12. I've grown 3 strains so far. They've all been some serious stinkers. A carbon filter is a must. I bought a commercial carbon filter and found a way to drill a few holes into it so I can take it apart and re use it. Works out really well.
In my opinion if that shit ain't stankin by week 3 or 4 of bloom somethings wrong. lol a friend das some going and he swore he could smell them in veg when he walked in door? i don't know about that, but i would filter it!!
