What exactly has America done that is good? Who should we as Americans attempt to emulate? Who should we be like to be "good"?

second, i dont agree with whoever says that "America is so bad cause they kill lots of people!" well guess what, all countries killed lots of people. read Machiavelli!! in politics its eat or be eaten, no?

the Americans that talk crap about their own country cause it is invading other countries annoy me. if the U.S. didn't do all this shit, you wouldn't be living in a house, driving a car, you wouldnt have a job, you wouldn't feel safe in your own home - i know this cause i can compare the living standards of the West and the little fucked up post-USSR countries that have their own little czars that kill and rob and rape.

a powerful country must continue growing, or else it will collapse. so i think that the
citizens of the U.S. should thank their leaders for taking over the planet.

i don't think that war is good, i dont think that people being killed is good, but this all happens for a reason. EVERY powerful country's leaders have the blood of millions of people on their hands. deal with it.

obviously there are better ways for a country to solve whatever problems they have with another country (like buying it, the U.S. does that too, its a very humane way to take over the world!). and obviously i would rather have us all live in peace and have no fucked up rich politicians controlling us all. but getting rid of them would require a LOT of work, and to be honest am believing less and less that it is possible at all.

So it's that black and white? Either invade other countries, or give up houses, cars, and jobs and resort to the standard of living of "the little fucked up post-USSR countries?" I'm surprised the gubment hasn't started telling us this yet.

 

im just saying that its really not that bad here. personally i would rather live in the U.S. knowing that it is taking over the world (preferably without any bloodshed) than live somewhere else. at least here the government is trying to keep the citizens happy and blind to what they are doing. there they dont even give a fuck, they just get real rich real fast while the people have no water or heat or electricity.
and yes, i strongly believe that if the U.S. didn't do the things they did when they did them, they would eventually be invaded by somebody else.

i agree with everything you said, but i STILL think that if the U.S. government didn't show the world whos the boss around here, somebody else would. so i would rather live in the country that is indeed "the boss." i live in Canada though

Try actually learning about history. Its a bit more nuanced than, "all white people from America are evil!". For example, I never here any of you complain about the South American slave trade. It was much larger and went on for longer than in North America. How about Native Americans? You know they bought and sol slaves as well. not just black slaves wither, but white people!

i wish i could say that that is always true. but the elite has been fucking us (the people) for a pretty damn long time now. so i dont know man. unless we finally get angry and rise.. nothing is going to change. and America will continue with their "sin spree". but everyone is way too happy. "here is my ass to you, Mr. President, Sir, now PLEASE go ahead and test your nuclear weapons on millions of civillians living on some island... as long as you are keeping me safe and keeping everyone else afraid and hating our country". lol, it is a fair trade probably. not fair to the rest of the world though.

 

The true challenge in life is to escape this mentality and realize that we're all self reliant individuals. America is on of the few places where we can chose our own destiny. We can chose to be total douche bags, or successful business owners, doctors, criminals, A holes, teachers, brake pad builders, porn stars. It's our choice.

Adversity makes Americans stronger, not angrier.

 

And without that operation we would not have alot of the medical knowledge we have today. Yes it's fucked up that alot of that knowledge was gained through experiments on jewish prisoners but it's the brutal truth

 

Wasn't Operation paperclip about getting rocket scientists? A few were deported or indicting on war crimes, but the majority were scientists working on rockets, jets, aerodynamics, they were Nazis by proxy.
