The shelf life for pollen?

    I had to take out a couple of plants with nanas on them and there may have been pollen from one I dunno for sure. My question is if there is pollen in my room or in a tent, how long does it linger so that it could polinate one of my girls in either a flowering or veg. state?

    Pollen hates to get wet.
    Can you wipe down the tent?

    Hi! :hola:Yes, yes I can. I'm wanting to put new plants I have in Veg in there and I just don't know how long to wait it out. I have flowering plants in other tents in my grow room also. I have been leaving the tent with the pollen in it closed.

    Hey GG! Pollen will stay viable for about 3-5 days just sitting around. Another poster mentioned to simply wipe your tent, it will rid you of the pollen. As far as shelf life for storage and usage, I have used pollen that was 6 months old and had a successful cross. The aforementioned pollen was stored in a refrigerator.
