The safe way to buy dabbing equipment

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by chiroman, Mar 26, 2012.

  1. I just went to 3 headshops and fumbled around because I don't know what the "safe" word for dabbing equipment is like "waterpipe" is for bong. What should I ask for? I got that maybe "nail" or something might be good "concentrate" oil burner might be okay, but I think they'll think I want a meth pipe or something.

I can't even search on GC for pieces to buy online, or other headshops because I don't know the magic words so please grasscity, help me find a cheap deal on an awesome piece for dabbing! If there's an adapter for the glass on grommit style pieces that would be the best if it was cheapest, but it seems that buying a whole new piece might be cheaper than buying an adapter for my glass on glass piece.

    Thanks everyone!

  2. Ask for an "oil rig" "oiler." Direct injection is the way you want to go if you're just going to be using it for concentrates, if you're going to be using it for flowers more than get a female>male adapter so you can drop a dome right on it.

    Also ask for Titianium nails.

Don't worry about what they think you're buying it for, its all just a silly game that headshops and customers have to play. EVERYONE already knows exactly what you're using it for.

  4. Just call them by their names:

dome, nail, curve, ti-pad, dabber etc are all perfectly fine to use in a shop setting

  5. try essential oil vaporizer

or for an extractor call it a essential oil extracter
