did any one else just watch dude take it up jimi hendrix style on the star spangled banner then go pete townshend at the end. most of the time i don't like people stealing others acts. but the roots have some real skill so i'll let it fly. for a person who isn't even a dedicated guitarist he can really play. any one else see it, what did you think. its bound to be on youtube soon, give it a check and post a link if you find it.
I saw them for free 2 weekends ago. Ate myself 3.5 gs of shrooms and half a roll. I was having a blast. They were really good live. The only song I remember was Talib Kweli cover. Go see them if you get a chance..

The Roots are awesome live I saw them on the 1st and they were way to good. They sometimes get critized for the way their performance is like one big jam, but I thought it was great. They were having a great time thowing down mad ryhmes and did a cover of a solid dylan song. The guitarist and tuba-goden-joe(i think that's it) Went running through the floor and then up through the seats and aisle rocking out the whole time. Also quest love threw down a sick drum solo for half-time. I can't wait for their new album, I think my favourite right now is Things fall apart, but I also like game theory alot, especailly "In the music" its a sweet song.
