The Republican Party is so absolutely easy to hate. Now that they have launched an assault against the Libertarian Party I am even more firm in my opinion that all libertarians should leave the Republican party immediatley. Whether your believe in the Libertarian Party or not Ron Paul is retiring soon he will obviously not be the Republican party nominee. The Republican Party is too far gone. Its become the party of corporate welfare and imperialism like the democratic party. this is a place to post about Republican hypocrisy and moral depravity. P.S. Penolope420 I hope this thread will dissuade your feelings about libertarian hypocrisy when it comes to the two party system.
Philosophy =/= party affiliation. lol Party affiliation is just a popularity contest. A politician's substance lies in their philosophy, not the heard of lost sheep they're trying to attract.

LOL... nope, not at all. Given the popularity of this thread vs. the "Obama is a warmongering, corporatist, evil motherfucker who's destroying this country and OMG we're all going to die" thread, I'd say you pretty much proved my point.

Lol, this thread has been up less than two days. Apples to oranges dear. People can scoff if they want at the fact that libertarian minded people attempted to use the system under which they are currently living. My skepticism is satisfied by the fact that they were severely marginalized by the GOP, and outright attacked and oppressed by the party and its base of power. This is 90 percent of the evidence I need to know that they are not the same as the rest of the scumbags they were attempting to replace.
i dont hate ALL republicans.. but the people i do hate just happen to be republicans.. the extreme right never fails to amaze me in how fuckin crazy they are
Just to be clear, the "extreme right" includes libertarians who want to gut all social services, put our roads and schools and hospitals into the hands of private corporations, take away your social security and Medicare that you paid for, and take away women's rights to their own bodies... All in the name of 'freedom'.
Your point isn't that the Democratic Party is worse than the Republican Party, is it? Have you not heard about Romney? Both parties are controlled by warmongering, corporatist, evil motherfuckers who are destroying this country... IMHO, the Republican Party just happens to draw more unintelligent people, as demonstrated by things like the Texas Republican Platform declaring war on critical thinking, while the Democratic Party draws more sophisticated lying, manipulative bastard types.
No, my point is that the libertarians on here like to say that they "hate republicans and democrats equally" to give themselves the air of neutrality and impartiality, but all they do is perpetuate Fox News/Karl Rove/Republican propaganda.
Most libertarians i know want to start with ending war, and spending money on it. Then they want to free up the market, so that private enterprise can replace government programs. ( as opposed to gutting it and leaving people to fend for themselves) Then they also want to allow people to opt out of compulsory programs that will not yield them anything in the future. ( social security, medicare.) I have not met any libertarian who wants to deny benefits to people who already paid for them. I would think you used the "roads" thing enough by now to give it a rest. The truth of the matter is we likely should not keep wasting resources on clearing vast amounts on land to create huge sprawling environmental heat sinks, used to provide people the ability to waste a shitload of fuel, transporting themselves and maybe a few others to the places where they have to go. The fact that the free market likely could not provide the resources needed to support such an idiotic structure, is supportive of the theory that we probably shouldn't be pursuing it in the first place. If the market for transportation, and its infrastructure, were left free, then by default we would have had to develop more efficient means of travel, and support ways of getting things done that relied less on transport. This means less cars, less fuel, more land, and more locally sourced .... EVERYTHING. Your right about this being extreme though. This is an extreme departure from the bullshit direction the ruling class has led us in with a carrot. Its an extreme contrast to the way of thinking which supports oppression, and stifles society as a whole.
It should be the natural human condition to hate republicans. Any party that's chooses corporations over people is wrong. However, as much as I hate the republicans, all politicians are out of touch.
were you just using my post to make a point of your own? cause if not im not sure what youre trying to say i said i DONT like them
Ever think that's because the current president is a democrat? Geez, do some critical thinking once In a while.
This. I do hate Republicans and Democrats equally. In my mind they aren't even separate parties, so it's not possible for me to hate one more than the other. They are 2 wings of the same fascist bird. Obama just gets talked about more because he's the current President. We would be attacking a Republican president with the same frequency.
You fail once again Penelope. The extreme right would be authoritarian, IE big government. The opposite of what libertarians stand for.
This. Democrats and Republicans are both extreme right fascists. Libertarians are extreme left, i.e., real liberals. Democrats are as liberal as Republicans are fiscally conservative, which is not at all.
