2(1)(1)-64(1)-100=-166

If x=1 then the equation should equal 0 not -166

I don't think thats what happened I think I fucked up when I squared everything

I attempted to generate my own equation by doing something like this:

X=1
10X=10
X=10-9X
X+5=15-9X
(X+5)/3=5-3X
and so on till the equation is sufficiently scrambled

 

Fail then probably broke some algebra rules, so when it was solved it didn't follow your path
