The Reason Weed Is So Expensive

    You can get a pound for about $3000, but mathematically, that averages out to about $10/1.5g. The reason it costs so much, obviously, is because of how many times it changes hands. I've made this table, which shows the gradual increase in price over time.

    Pound (16oz): $3,000

    QP (4oz): $900 (30% of $3,000)
    $900 • (16 / 4 = 4) = $3,600
    $3,600 / $3,000 = 1.20 (20% profit)

    Ounce (28.35g): $270 (30% of $900)
    $270 • (4 / 1 = 4) = $1080
    $1080 / $900 = 1.20 (20% profit)

    Quarter (7 grams): $80 (30% of $270)
    $80 • (28.35 / 7 = 4.05) = $324
    $324 / $270 = 1.20 (20% profit)

    Dime (0.7g): $10
    $10 • (7 / 0.7 = 10) = $100
    $100 / $80 = 1.25 (25% profit)

    well you simply mathematically stated the obvious. The more you buy, the less you pay per gram. 
     
    why the hell would any dealers bother selling if they didn't make any profit.

    Where the hell is a pound still worth $3000? Here it's more like $1300. But then, nobody sells grams anymore.

     Lots of places, for the dankest dank in you could go 4000 or more. But its pretty crazy I know, but this is what happens where it is illegal.

    You tell me where I can find a pound of dank for $1300. Southern US it's $1200 for a qp. $4000 for a lb. $3500 is a good deal around here. Oz's go for $350-450. I've seen them go for $550 before. Of course I get mine for about $2 an oz haha

    Nope VXR I get mine directly from the grower, no other person involved and still it's the same, either overpriced or under par quality.

    All said and done with a straight face. It's comical

    He said he's gonna grow plus wants people to 'drive with him to Amsterdam' so I expect quality and quantity to improve haha.
