The Power of Marijuana in Interpreting and Intergrating Psychedelics Experiences

1. Let me start by saying that I have a generally low tolerance
to psychedelics including marijuana.

Last night I smoked some incredibly dank weed for the first time since the last time i tripped on shrooms, which was one week ago from then. I was just sitting in the dark in my car at this remote parking lot looking up at a mountain. I loaded a nice bowl and knew from the very first hit that I was going to be completely ripped soon.
I was just chilling with my seat back listening to some Primus and enjoying the effects of the herb, when I started to feel subtle shroomy and salvia-like sensations. (Besides eating the fungus last weekend, I had also smoked a little bit of salvia earlier this week, and I've always noticed that the first couple times of smoking weed after doing psychedelics produces some really trippy effects)
I decided to close my eyes and was greeted by a myriad of colourful flowing geometric patterns, some of which were very circular in construction and some of which seemed to be glowing double helix strands. Both of which were very present themes in my last shroom journey. My body also felt very heavy and almost like I was being pulled into my seat (similar to a sensation I often experience on salvia).
I was amazed at the intensity of the effects I was feeling, but this was just the beginning of what has turned out to be one of the strongest weed experiences I've ever had. I was relaxed enough that I decided to drive around, so I left the parking lot, avoiding all the potholes and bumps in the gravel with what seemed to be expert handling of my car. I started driving down the road, everything seemed really slow and flat, almost 2d. As I continued to drive the intensity of the effects continued to increase, soon everything began to take on a very cartoonish and pixellated look, and I felt as if I was in a videogame (much like some of the first times I got stoned and also a lot like the effects of DXM). It seemed like I was driving the same distance of road again and again and not making any progress. This mindset took over and i totally spaced out. Everything seemed very familiar yet alien at the same time, much as if i was in a dream. I couldn't even tell i was driving, yet somehow I knew i was and I knew i was doing fine. This continued on for what felt like a pretty long time until I encountered the beaming headlights of more flat cars, and started to snap out of the crazy experience.
I drove home, still feeling stoned out of my mind. As soon as I got home I headed to the bathroom to take a piss, and I noticed in the mirror that my eyes were pretty much completely red and my pupils looked really big.
This whole experience was really interesting and allowed me to decipher some of the meanings and significances of my last couple of psychedelic journeys.
Now, I'm not that new to marijuana or psychedelics, I've been smoking for about 3 years and I've had many a foray into the mystical states of psychedelic being, but this stands out as one of the most intense experiences I have ever had from just smoking the herb.
