I was thinking about the PM system that is in place at this site and how many people look in thier profile to cheak PM? I know I really dont, it would be good if something on the opening screen tells you that you have a message awaiting in your profile...just a thought.
this makes me wonder if all the times i thought no one sent me PM's... maybe i was just so high i didn't know i had to check my profile. huh, thanks for bringing that up.
There is an alert sent to your email address when somebody sends you a PM. I just check my profile at least every time I'm on the board. Then I won't miss a thing.
I think I missed the point of this thread (oops! ) I have programs that alert me when I get email, so when I get a PM, I find out as long as I have icq running pretty much immediately. But just for the hell of it, I check my profile often also. I'll ask around to see if there's another way to get a more universal alert for us all.
