    I went out to a place called the "Nantucket Lightship closed access area", for 18,000 pounds of Atlantic Sea Scallops. I fish commercially for a living.

    Ah, interesting. I love sea stories, been reading them since I was in school (50 years ago).

    I've read "The Perfect Storm" four times since it came out, might be time to read it again this winter. :D

    That movie lol. Ive been hit by a couple rouge waves, been in big seas, but never would I be that stupid.

    I would hate to be on a long liner the size of the boat i run. I don't do hooks lol. I'll stick to my dredges[​IMG]

    Cool.

    FWIW: I thought the movie kinda sucked, and I saw it in the theater. The book was way, way better, even the 4th time I read it. A lot of very detailed scientific stuff about storms, the maximum theoretical size a wave can get, etc.
