Hey guys. I've noticed, The Paralympics doesn't get as much attention as the normal Olympics.. Anyone have any views on this?
When do disabled people ever get as much attention as "able-bodied" people? We cannot focus on anything other than aspiring to be perfect, rich and powerful - it would make people think too much.
not as much advertisment and most people probabley are sick of the olympics by the time they end and the last thing they want is more
people want to see the best in the world and nothing less i guess
That's exactly what the Olympics are though. How's that bad?
Dude if I wanted to see robots and cyborgs go at it, i'd watch battlebot reruns! No on a serious note. I don't know why but I'm guessing because they are handicapped..which is sad..but true..
If I wanted to watch any sort of olympics, it'd be the Para. Seeing a man run on two bionic legs is more impressive to me than someone with two "normal" ones. But I'm just not interested in sports... so its not a big deal to me
One year they should have Paralympic athletes vs special Olympic athletes. Now THAT would be fucking epic, I'd make room on my pvr for that Yes, I know I'm an asshole
I am still waiting for the tinfoil joke.
We need a youtube video first.
