In a way, it seems to me that the people always asking for "proof" or "evidence" are seeking to fill a void they have within themselves. I mean, why do you need to prove that "whites" and "blacks" are of the same species to feel compassion for and give respect to members of the group (which you classified them by) that you don't identify or find yourself identified with?
