  1. Hello fellow tokers and Metallica lovers. I was just wondering who else out there can't get enough of Metallica while blazed??

  2. I love metallica. There awesome when stoned, along with almost all music :smoke:

  3. i listen to them when im all coked out or drunk, cant get into them when i high. but i do love thier music, at least black album and b4 nothing after black album, and they really suck a big one now.

  4. i really love metallica. Ive been listening to them for a while and my favorite album is probably Kill em all, but my favorite song is battery. Battery just has so much energy it really gets me pumped up. All of their newer stuff, in my opinion, is not very good. Kill em all, Master of puppets, ride the lightning and the black album are probably far ahead of the rest. And i also cant really get into them when im high, its too loud and not layed back enough for me when im high

  5. Good points guys. Metallica is the best heavy metal band of all time however, I completely agree that after the Black album, Metallica has really begun to slip. Load and Reload as well as Garage Inc. were all mistakes on the bands behalf. St. Anger was suppoused to reinvent Metallica's sound, but it fucking sucks...no solos...whats the deal? Ride the Lightning or Master of Puppets are their 2 best albums. Seek and Destroy, Fade to Black and Leper MEssiah are my fav three songs, but I like all their songs...except after the Black Album.

  6. Ya definatly old school metallica. I learned every one of there songs on guitar from black album and back. St Anger was the biggest dissapoinment of my life, but then seeing them on summer sanitarium sorta made up for it! Hail Kirk Hammett

  7. i love metalllica... but i listened to them to much the past couple years... kind of bored of them now... and i cant listen to them when i am high..

justice is the best album... harvester of sorrow or battery is the best song

  8. Watrch the Live in San Diego '92 video.... the unforgiven.. fucking awesome

sorry for bumping but cant get enough met!

  9. there so so, they went down hill AFTER the black album, before that i love there stuff.

  10. if you can get over the singing.. load was pretty good too...

  11. 1. Ride the Lightning (quite easily the best)
    2. And justice for all
    3. Master of Puppets
    4. Kill em all
    5. Black Album

The rest are just plain bad. I think they've gotten the message by now though, so that the next album, which is due out soon, will at least attempt to be good.

  12. They did kick ass, and yes they are horrible now.

  13. I liked Load and ReLoad... Garage Inc blew out the ass hole, but S&M was OK... I liked the sound with the symphony, it was pretty tight.

But old metallica was definately WAY better. I'd have to say everything before the Black Album was their best... Black was iight, but not def. a lil overrated.

Battery, Creeping Death, Ride the Lighting, Sanitarium, FiXXXer, The Unforgiven, and The Four Horsemen are my fav songs. The creshenda in Creeping Death is fucking sick.

  14. not everyone appreciates load and reload... i like them.. took a long time to get used to it after mostly listening to justice and puppets....

  15. I know what you mean. I'll put in load or reload every now and then. The only problem I have with those is that I don't like all the songs, so I don't like to let it play through. There are some good ones from each, though. Devil's dance is one of my favorites off Reload, as well as Low Man Lyric

  16. Yeah... Low Man Lyric is one of my all time fave songs. Devil's Dance is pretty tight too :D I also liked Carpe Diem Baby, and FiXXXer. :)

  17. i like fixxxer...ronnie.. i disappear... devils dance is alright..

and from load.. outlaw torn, bleeding me, king nothing, house that jack built.. and aint my bitch..

  18. Hey,

Kill 'em all was best. After Master of Puppets, they went downhill. There wasn't as much energy in ...And Justice For All. As you could guess, this is due to Cliff's untimely death. He had a great role in the band's style. Ive always felt the Black Album was vastly overrated. Never really got into much Load or Reload. Unforgiven II was alright. S&M...not metallica. St. Anger...HAHAHAH!! Metallica was and will always be known for their semi-complicated riffs and Pentatonic Shredding. Putting out an album full of very de-tuned guitars playing beginner riffs is NOT Metallica no matter how much they want to claim it to be. They were just fooling themselves with that one. I have and will continue to enjoy old metallica while high. Being drunk sucks, so all music sucks when I'm drunk. Peace.

    -Timmy

  19. word onthat... st anger really blew a big one... i only liked frantic...

kill em all has some nice songs... the four horsemen.. one of the best solos in that song.. i love it

  20. I know it's not "typical" Metallica, but does anyone else like "Mama Said?" from Load?

I dunno why I like that song so much... I guess it's just 'cause it's weird to hear Metallica do an acounstic song, lol. I like it when bands mix it up some.
