    Man, just chilling at the crib

    off work bout to open a coors in a can, just bummin' about how fucking wack rap is now-a-days. I cant even listen to the radio anymore.


    I just remember when I was maddd little and my mom would be jammin' some Big L, Wu-Tang, Tribe called quest, man those were the fucking days. that's when rap was the best IMO. Tribe's album - The Low End Theory like changed my life--- WTF happened to music!!!

    I think music in general was better then I guess, like even Sublime and RHCP were in their prime. Damn I wish I was in my 20's in the 90's.


    ahhh this is just a rant. music is going downhill-fast.

    Yeah I agree. Someone is gonna come in here and say how cool rap is now just wait. 90's rap is the original shit now its like knock-off rap(that is, the shit most people listen too) im all down with the underground though.

    Yeah true that, I'm not bashing on ALL new rap, just most of it. Like Weezy's a bitch but I'll jam his shit at a party cause it's what the girls wanna hear.

    I love me some Dr Dre and Pac and shit, but I'm going to go even a step further and say that 90's EAST COAST rap is my favorite. NYC to be specific.

    yeah redman is good as hell. wu tang is legendary. its a shame what rap has come to. i like weezy, i like his metaphors a lot and i just enjoy most of what he puts out...i like game...i like tech n9ne...but other than that rap just isn't what it used to be...

    ah some Slick Rick is all i need right now.

    De La Soul was also off the chain. music as a whole hasnt become worse, just rap. rap really sucks nowadays. i dont care what ppl think, lil wayne and t-payne are fuckin terrible.

    Hell yeah bro, 90's rap is what I grew up listening to. Too many to list but here it goes; UDI, 115, 211, RBL, The Click, Hiero, GLP, IMP, Celly, Sugawolf, Mac Dre, Mac Mall, Big L, Wu and so many more.

    There is definitly some good rap now but is all underground

    Blue Scholars
    Common Market
    Deltron 3030
    and Aceyalone
    are good examples
