But the most recent girl i was talking to, we only talked for a couple months then cut things short, but even in that time she was able to blow my ex's out the water. We were only talking for about 2 months when christmas time came around, so it wouldve been weird to get each other some huge gifts. Well me and my most recent girl were just soulmates I would say. We had a soft spot for each other. I cooked her breakfast for her birthday morning cutting fresh fruit up with Belgian waffles and hot chocolate. Then we went to a mall and i bought her everything she wanted but she knew not to take to much advantage of that. Then we went ice skating and when shed fall down I'd purposely fall down just so she could laugh at me and not feel embarrassed. Then i took her out to lunch and came home took a nap. Haha when I was 16 my girlfriend got me a fucking PSP. And that's when these things were still somewhat new and fairly expensive. That was pretty awesome. But it was hard to accept something like that so I asked her what she wanted me get her for Christmas (few months away) to make up for it and finally she asked if I'd get her an iPod nano, and I thought that sounded solid enough. We broke up later though so I never bought her an iPod. I sold the PSP though and bought myself an iPod video shortly after. Another thing, but this wasn't as materialistic. I had been dating a girl for a little while when I was 18. My grandfather passed away and it was the day of his funeral.
