The mythical white strain

    I saw it on youtube and couldn't believe my eyes, an all white plant and the buds were all white too!! The strain was called bubble gummer but when I tried to google it all I got was the one I saw on youtube. I also couldn't find any other info on that particular strain. Anyone have and freakin clue on how to get it :confused:. I really want that strain and I'm sure everyone else will once they see how sick that plant is. All white:eek: looks like scarfaced tried to create a coke strain:rolleyes:. Please can anyone help me with this search?

    Try Femaleseeds.nl they have a strain called BubbleGummer.

    Attitude has a strain with that name, its the same as the video (from the female seeds company)

    Attitude had a promo a while back where they were giving away free bubblegummer seeds. Are you sure the plant in the video wasnt just light bleached? There was a magazine article posted here a while back about somebody discovering something called trichrome stacking where he claimed he could get the trichs to literally stack on top of each other. This was the reason, he said, that his buds looked white. But if you look close enough you can see it was nothing more than the plant matter had been bleached by his lights.

    the dude uses a NV camera ( look/listen at about the 30 second mark), that is why it is white. And why all of his vids show white plants ( not just the bubblegummer)..

    Google "chlorophyll" a quick read should tell you why an albino cannabis plant is impossible ..

    So he claimed a way of MAKING it happen? I have had that happen before, trichs stacked on top of trichs, I just thought it was good luck with a nice combination of genes, feeding, and pampering. I damn sure couldnt re-create it purposefully though. It was also a strong sativa plant so I thought it might have been a possible sativa trait.

    What a douche bagg, It really had me going for a couple of days. I've google all night and day to try and find that plant. Freakin camera tricks, thanks guys for exposin this myth to be busted.

    seen maybe 1-2 posts/questions online about albino/variegated weed in like 10 years, and then in the last 6 months Yours is like the 5th or 6th.

    atleast now I know why it is happening. I was thinking maybe High Times had another "how to Grow like the Pros" article

    Yeah he claimed to have made it happen using either LEDS or plasma lighting, I cant remember off the top of my head. There was a lot of debate about whether it was even possible or if the photo was real, but nobody else in the thread talked about ever seeing it in person.
