I dunno there are so many jacked up things with the u.s. I could rant for years, about the ignorance, our national religion, racism, education, war, corruption, debt, marijuana laws, the list goes on. So should I move? I feel as if i could just finish my education and leave. Just pack up and move to Canada, or something. But i don't want to leave everything I know behind. I mean, i love blue skys and cheese burgers, baseball games, apple pie, and the 4th of July, but the good doesn't compensate for the bad.

    So grasscity.... Should i move?

  2. Thats heavy as hell my dude but is there anything specific that sparked this idea? Also remember nowhere is perfect.

  3. I personally intend to someday live on the Mediterranean. I'm thinking southern France, eastern Spain or northwest Morocco. Or maybe all three.

  4. My eldest brother is serving jail time for paraphernalia. But besides that i can't really name anything specific that sparked this idea. And yes i realized that nowhere is perfect, but there are places that are more perfect.

    Dunno just confused

  5. better you than some mexican i can pay $2.50 an hour to mow my lawn

  6. I'd say moving out would be a great idea, but you definitely need to finish your education here. Moving to another country to finish your education could lower the quality and definitely increase the time and money you commit to getting your degree. I would suggest trying to tour Europe a little bit when you graduate. I'd personally stay away from the Eastern European countries and some of the old Soviet States, but Spain, France, Netherlands:), and some Northern African countries would definitely be fun. Maybe try exploring Italy, Germany, Austria, and Luxembourg would be interesting also.

  7. i've sort of kind of looked into moving out of the country a lil while back. I think its a fuck of a lot harder then simply "moving out"

    maybe tho...

  8. Maybe i will :). I'm thinking maybe i should move to Canada though, its only a state away. I could smoke my bud in peace, possibly go into my dream career, and not worry about getting drafted into some sort of pathetic war.

  9. Like financially hard, emotionally hard? What makes it difficult?

  10. And codeine is found in OTC cough syrup, have fun:) I hear Ontario has a decent drug scene.

  11. I have been thinking about moving to Canada since senior year of High School, i am just sick and tired of America's bullshit. People don't realize how fucked up we have it here, sure we don't have to walk 10 miles to get fresh water and ya we get to pick who we want to represent us in our government, but the people who are at a disadvantage in the united states are worse of than people in poorer countries. But i have been to third world countries and honestly the people there are some of the most care free people you would ever meet, they don't know what it's like having to compete with everyone for everything i.e. getting into college, getting a job, and becoming wealthy.

  12. Of course the things you named compensate for the bad as any number of things throughout our average day compensates for the fact that we could die at any minute. Where to go exactly? Perhaps to a place that's filled with people that reflect the self-righteousness in your post? In what corner of the globe is there not something worth running away from? Problem is there's nowhere to go because the world is filled with people and situations you want to run away from. Someone has to abide, and not just that but contribute and understand that the part of the world that they live in adds up to all of the goodness and ugliness that there is.

America is like any other country in the world we just happen to be "wealthy" and powerful. Indeed, all the more reason for all Americans to take their place in the world more seriously.

So move if you want to bro just understand that geography has little to do with human nature. Everything's connected and it's much deeper than our skin.

  13. I'd love to move to the Caribbean Islands but I can't get a work permit.

I could probably go down there and live nicely selling doobage to US tourists though. :p

I'd like to go down there and live like Captin Ron.

Did you know that there are over 7000 islands in the Caribbean?

I could deal with it. :smoking:
