The most beautiful song ever written?

    I am sure that we'll get many differing opinions on this topic, but my vote has to be "My Favorite Things". I absolutely love this song, and can not help but to feel happy whenever I hear it. I know it's cheesy, but jeez! It's such a great song. I haven't heard all of the renditions of it, but the original by Julie Andrews is good, the Coltrane version is good, and the Outkast version is really good too. I think it fits with the season too.

    H by tool. The most beautiful piece of music i have heard in a awhile. He wrote it about the birth of his son. The lyrics are amazing.

    Beautiful...as in composition, mood, lyrics...???


    I hunted down what I considered to be beautiful right at this moment and came up with "Rain Song" by Led Zeppelin!

    Well... it's hard to say...

    I'm listening to a really beautiful song right now called "the art of tea" by micheal franks... i got it on a downloading spree... the first time i've heard it. how fitting.

    But the most beautiful... "forever autumn" by the moody blues... every time i hear the song i melt in awe as the determined, crying out lyrics cut off and into the quiet, haunting guitar....

    "these are a few of my favorite things" is definetly a beautiful song... it's right up there. also the perfect song to set the mood for "fear and loathing in las vegas"... caught my attention so well

    Blix, Louis is my man too! Kiss to build a dream on is probably what I think to be the most beautiful.

    I could never chose anything that is my favorite or what I find most beuatiful when it comes to music...you ask me my favorite band, Ill list 10-20...my favorite song...Ill say "HAHAH! umm...this one, no that one...no THIS one!...no I love that one...call me back in 20 years? ok?" and the most beautiful song...depends how Im feeling, what Im doing...where Im at, who Im with...dont have an answer for ya...sorry :D
