The modern world

  1. So a while ago i had an idea of this world, called the modern world, which was basicly a surreal world created in my head. But the thing is, nothing makes sense, it has on relation to time, and yet it does (for example, the architecture is often a mix of early victorian styles, art deco and art nouveau, therefore it has a relation to time as it hsa a relation to specific periods, yet it also has no relation to time because all of these wildly different cultures and periods are mixed into one). I wont go into specific details now, because i'm quite stoned and it'd all be lies, but anyway, i absaloutly loved this idea and i did loads of sketches, but i started to forget about it and i thought nothing would ever become of it. However, today i learnt in art that our newest project is called 'illusion and reality'! But the best bit is, not only can i do the modern world, but i've just learnt of a local bookmaker, so i can make it into a book! Maybe even get it published. Booyaa

  3. Im looking forward to seeing some of the creations that spawn from this idea, it sounds great already, especially the chandelier bus!

  4. downer, my scanners bust. The ski lift is my favourite, the people of the modern world dress in their finest clothes and enter an art deco ski lift, where they could find anything from a bar stocked with fine liquers, to a casino, then when they get to the top, they enter a building and whatch films of people skiing, through film boxes. (i don't know the excact name for them, the best way i can describe them is the 'what the butler saw' machines, where you put in a penny or whatever and some shit happens)
