If the medium is the message, then what message does our modern medium of internet convey?
Where do we go from here?

  2. Extremely difficult to quantify or predict in today's day and age. If the internet is the new medium we have barely scratched the surface of its true power (and danger) since it is so new.

It's opened doors and enlightened people to ways of thinking that weren't even conceivable before it existed.

It's enabled you to pose this thread to a global audience with the stroke of a keyboard. Impressive.

It's an exciting time to be alive, for sure!

  3. Internet conveys how scattered we are and likely avoiding or at least procrastinating doing what really needs to be done by looking at screens and jabbering about stuff we can't do anything about.
Next medium? Telepathy - who needs keyboards or voice to text anyway?

  4. In a sense, the internet seems to reveal the idea that we are all one in a very physical way. It connects people in ways that were simply impossible before it, makes available the world's knowledge in a way that links us as IF we actually are all connected (which we are but that may be better explored in another section ;)).
