The lost miner

  1. I worked at a open pit Gold mine that employed about 300 people .
Out of those 300 employees there has to be some dump shits ..

We had one mechanic ,,, worked in the PM bay ( he changed the oil and filters in the shop ) and never went into the pits where all the equipment was working .

He got lost in the dark or middle of the night ,, it was the graveyard shift , a mine site can be a few miles long.
Its not a big deal ,he is on the mine radio and everyone can hear LOL but most of us are trying to figure out where he is so we can give him directions to get back to the shop ..

So I hear the shop foreman asking this mechanic Jerry if there is anything he can see so we find him or give him directions out there .
A piece of equipment , big mound of dirt .. is he in one of the open pits we are not mining at the time ..?
He was suppose to be picking up Light plant ,, even directions to how he got where he is at ..

A pause went over the radio and Jerry says well I am under the big dipper ! LOL
Cant believe the next job he hired on at he went in as a planner LOL ..
