The list of 10 things in the world I hate, this morning

Discussion in 'General' started by eric71, Nov 20, 2012.

  1. 1. Bystander affect - the product of modern pussification and selfishness
    2. Pack Fighting - the product of insecurity revolving around winning or losing
    3. Gaza is its own country how the hell? Seriously....?
    4. Thanks to this here information age many think they know everything, which could be half true, but so few actually understand any of what they know. Experience is vital.
    5. Branching off the above, that ignorance has found its way in social realms, judgmental and depressive behavior is common like no other time period.
    6. Bigotry is bigger than ever, I cant remember the last time someone genuinely cared about what came out of my mouth other than too see how their opinion lines up with mine.
    7. Touching on the above and #2, society has forgotten their is not always a right and a wrong, and has surely forgotten or simply fails to acknowledge we are all born as equals. Im not going to pretend like at the end of the day/life were still on the same level though.
    8. Modern emphasis on sex is pathetic, immature and childish. Too me a mature well rounded person shouldn't be fully consumed by their ability to get laid.. like so many are. Its just another drug.
    9. Americanization. Overly Americanized citizens tend to portray a lot of evils. Its comes down to lifestyle influences. The free market system is built to have winner and losers but these fiscal ties find their way into our lives easily, creating an atmosphere revolved around competition with fellow man, rather than work with fellow man. Another massive influence to Americanization is the US Media. The medias product is not going to be one of good nature very often. It is simply entertainment rather information spreading like what their job is really about, which skews the overall value and intentions of the product. In our modern day we are raised by our parents (if your lucky) the media and our teachers (who are equally influenced by the media). What is considered a 'good lead' has parental value to our world. Media outlets are here for the same reason as other business', To Make Money. Not to make you cool or fit in, thats on you.
    10. Elitists. A lack of money would make one stupid, as would an absence of sex, or friends. If an individual does not have either of those 3 that might be merit for someone to assume superiority, but truth be told the only people who would be missing all 3 are people with serious mental or physical conditions, people need to realize they will never fully understand another individuals life or hurdles. So assessing and comparing ourselves to others is fruitless, and works against any common goal. Its natural to assess where you stand relative to your peers, but in this century people will say or do anything to make you feel as bad as their own perceived inferior-self. I feel like a lot of people go around looking for complements. Its sad. Nobody ever gave me a compliment so why should I start giving them out? People will just think I am a homosexual anyways, and unfortunately thats the truth. Its so hard to be nice.

So many people think they're a 'nice guy'. If you were a nice guy wouldn't you have nice friends and a nice life? I know Im not a nice guy and thats why I live the way I live. I just wish less people would be deluded by their depression and the media. Depression make you a bad guy, flat and simple. You think focusing on peoples negatives will improves you in any way shape or form? Nope. Acknowledge it and THAN you can start making legitimate changes. Ive made a few, not enough but better than nothing.

  2. You must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed today, OP :p

  3. somebody shit in his cornflakes

  4. Lol random

  5. why don't you tell us how you REALLY feel..

  6. OP just took it dry.

  7. I would say we live in a better time period than any past one.. I can get up in the morning, take a hot shower, eat fresh food that I didn't have to hunt or look for, etc.. People from 200 years ago would think I was living in a paradise, and its just normal life. Try to be optimistic dude!

  8. A 21st century stoner would think its a good thing we dont have to go outside to hunt for our food.

If I go for a run late at night and Im catching up to some girl ahead of me they'll always switch purse to the far hand, sometimes cross to the other side as I get close to their space. Thats sick to me that theres so much fear I cant even go on a run at nght without making people think Im a nut. My coat is a little creep I suppose, and I know someone will ask, Im not black lol.

Mornings be rough I read it over now few hours later and fuuuuuck I just went on and on and on lol.

And Im Not Dry Just Smoking Terrible Weed.

  9. One time, emotions used to hugely influence my perception of life then once I started smoking and started to thinking at a logical basis, I realize that the anger wasn't worth it and was just being overly-cynical. Don't let it get to you man, sure a lot of things are out of place but Hey, what can we do about them.

  10. Well yea..

It used to be to dangerous to even go for a run at night lol

Try running in the pitch black with no phone, electricity and creeps and animals out hunting you as well.

Thats like a 150 years ago man lol

  11. How is it not a good thing that we don't have to hunt? We still have the option, but I don't have to risk my life in the middle of winter shooting a fucking buffalo just to get by day to day. "A 21 century stoner would think" lol dude ANYBODY would think life today is easier than in past times, unless they're in denial.

How would it be a positive thing if life expectancy was cut in half, we had no electricity, and people spent 100% of their energy just SURVIVING with no time or opportunity to do what they enjoy doing?

If you think you'd be happier living off the land then what's stopping you!

  12. This. And the fact that if you're in a group of more than two or three friends, people cross the road to avoid you. :(

  13. Really? Really?

Have you ever studied a history book... like, ever?

  14. didnt read it . . . feel better soon OP
