Sam Seder is issuing an open call to all Libertarians that want to voice their opinions. If you think you can back up the radical right, feel free to tell us why.

Pretty hilarious how badly he wrecks these idiots on live radio.

  2. Sounds like liberals when they call Hannity.

Totally destroyed the entire movement. Gj.

  3. That's heavy, especially coming from someone who appears to sympathize with Ron Paul.

I'm a bit confused about why you claim he "destroyed the entire movement", as if you actually paid attention to the video, you would have noticed that Sam makes it very clear that he supports specific facets of the movement itself.

As an ideology, it has never been practically applied in any nation in the history of the world. It is simply a political theory and nothing more.

  4. He was being sarcastic. Look, every radio show host wins debates, the cards are set in their favor. If the host was a libertarian it'd appear that he won against a liberal caller. So really you proved nothing with this video, and I'm not even a libertarian (well libertarian-leaning Republican)

  5. The exact same thing would have happened in a libertarian society to YAZ. The guy is acting like the FDA all of a sudden realized that YAZ was harmful. The individuals were the ones who found out from their doctors and spread the news. Bayer apologizes and tries to fix the problem in order to save their reputation. The FDA had nothing to do with it; the FDA did not stop the problem from occurring nor did it end the problem once it happened.

4 minutes of my life...

I posted the video(s) not to libel against Libertarians, but because he presents numerous valid points.

To say that just because he is arguing against a position automatically makes his position invalid is a fallacy in of itself.

If you had watched the video you would have noticed that not only does Sam make very clear that he is NOT against Libertarians, but also that the caller was a complete idiot.

The FDA didn't do anything because YAZ was in clinical trials at the time and he even admitted that. YAZ was just one of the many examples he chose to get his point across with. Additionally, drug users would end up relying on their research alone, independent of what the FDA does or doesn't do, because all the FDA did was block the drug.

  7. I will be watching this, thank you.

  8. id like to see him talk with somebody who isnt just some random guy calling in to his show,

if he could wreck a representative of the liberatarian party as bad as those random callers, id be interested in seeing it

  9. Peter Schiff would destroy this guy in a debate. (Only listened to about 10 seconds though)

  10. admittedly, the callers were a tad bit ill-informed on the subjects they were arguing for-

here is a more logical and thoughtful debate

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwacQGOuZaw]Libertarian Lee Doren vs. Leftist Sam Seder - YouTube[/ame]

p schiff has yet to accept an invitation, however his brother came on the show a few times to defend peter. 10 seconds though, that should be a new record

  11. Yes, I listened to the first video.

I am being sarcastic. If the truth was decided by radio hosts winning against call ins then we'd be zeig heiling to this guy:

Not everyone argues on political forums all day. It's difficult for any caller to get anything over any host or their 30 second delay and background people doing the research live.

But yeah, I thought it was funny when the host basically said, "We need the FDA, without the FDA the drug companies will kill us. So what about YAZ? In your world they could sell YAZ." and I was like, "hey clownshoes the FDA let them sell it."

If we're currently finding out what's harmful through the news because the FDA is bought out by corporations then what's the harm in changing to a system that, at worst, ends up right back where we are now?

  12. I am equally unimpressed with Lee Doren and Sam Seder. Both are sub-par voices for their ideology, imo.

Lee is like a washed up Neo-Con who pretends to be a Libertarian. He used to brag about getting 'shout-outs' from Glenn Beck on his uploads  I used to comment on his YT channel, it's saturated with Fox News viewers.

  13. yeah.. and look at the state of most of the civilized nations in the world right now.. not so good.
maybe we need to try something that might work.

    ^^ yeah that.

Bill O'Reilly who is the biggest no nothing on TV "wins" most of the arguments on his program as well..

    exactly..

a couple of cherry picked idiot callers don't really speak for all libertarians.

OP did you actually listen to all of these videos?

how is building a highway subsidizing walm.art?

he says that social security is a good investment over the long term.. do you agree with that?

  16. You can't argue with leftists, you can only wage war on them and win with a landslide because they consist of the weakest genes. ;) (just kidding, but just a little encouragement in case your guys boy RP loses...) In seriousness, they say it will be successful in the long run because they want to tax "the rich" by 15% more, some even suggest 20-25%. So yeah, steal enough money and you shitbags can have your social security.

  17. ^^ i don't have false hopes for RP.. he's made huge strides over the last 4 years..
and in 4 more years it will be that much easier for Gary Johnson to run imo..

and i'm not an advocate of getting rid of SS 100% right off the bat.. (i'm a fan of letting prople opt out f they think they can get a better return on their money)

but for this guy to say that it's a good investment for the long term, is insane.
shit.. i'm gonna be 41 and i won't see a dime.. forget anyone in their 20's and 30's

i like how the leftists are all up in arms over getting rid of SS.. but have no problems with spending the entire SS fund on bailouts etc..

The media is his greatest obstacle. But the younger people are waking up I just don't have faith that they'll wake up to the voice of liberty. I see them as the weakest American generation to date (each generation has been getting progressively (holy shit) weaker). They will see corporations (i.e. the private sector) as the ultimate evil of all mankind and we'll drift further into idiocracy. Did I mention they will have the greatest egos this nation has ever seen? Oh it will be a glorious disaster. I pray for the future generations of this society.

  19. Didn't need more than 10 seconds. That's all it took to see exactly where he's coming from with government intervention in the economy, and I've already heard the "best" arguments possible for that line of thinking, which are all very poor arguments, even the best ones. No need to keep listening.

  20. all the libertarians see is government as the lone "ultimate evil", so what's the difference?

the purpose of the point was that under privatization of roads, walmart would build its highways and roads to the benefit of only itself, in interest of maximizing capital.
