The lethal dose of Cannabis?

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by HeaDiEs RusH, Oct 31, 2011.

  1. yes you can die from smoke inhalation if you don't have adequate oxygen. Much like you can drown while drinking water....but that doesn't mean you should advocate a mandate for people to water floaties.

If you figure out a way to die from smoking pot I hope you do it before you reproduce.

  2. About the same as hay. If a big pile of bailed hemp lands on you, you get squished flat.

  3. And as an FYI, Marinol HAS killed!

The FDA has written documentation that patients can overdose on Marinol and that it can be lethal (news - 2009)

The problem lies in that synthetic versions of natural chemicals are not the same! Most natural chemicals have a right-hand spiral to them. Synthetics twist both right and left. Your body CAN tell the difference.

Vitamin E is a common example. If you look at the chemical name of the vitamin E, you can see the difference. Natural vitamin E is D-Alpha tocopherol, while the synthetic is DL- Alpha tocopherol!

Some folks get a rash when the DL is applied to their skin and a few studies claim the DL is less effective than the natural. I take the natural type, even though it is a tad more expensive.
