Grow [KOI!] Room has been given a thick coat of primar (water-humidity proof light reflectant), and several coats of chrome and bright white spray paint, after being cured with 1:9 Chlorine H2O and a Chemical War of Residential Insecticide. Fitted with metal hooks pretty much everywere. It has direct tubing for air circulation from the outside, pulling fresh cool air from a very high very polluted city (CO2). Power Filter in the

FISHTANK pulling air directly from same line, helps "charging" and cooling the water. Bio Filter. 3 Long Veiled KOI fish being fed: 33% Raw Protein 2.5% Raw Fat 4.5% Raw Fiber 0.9% Phosphorus 200mg/kg Absorbic Acid [Good for PH - ] River Rock at the bottom housing bacteria, previously curated in white vinegar [highly recommended]. Water comes out of FISHTANK to WBS [plants] through feeding line to 6x Drips. FISHTANK is being pumped water from RES.

RES is a 120l heavy duty black plastic rectangular with lid, covered in foil. 2 Turtles being fed pretty much the same, plus live tiny fish, and dried shrimp. Water is being pumped [Italian Mini Aqua Pump] to the FISHTANK and gravity feeding from RES to the NUTETANK with gauge. Water in, receiving the excess water from the WBS and NUTETANK circulation through an air pumped, rock, carbon, and fiber, water filter. Power Filter.

NUTETANK is 25l cinammon taped, electric taped, foiled, unicel [WBS the same]. Light and temp INSULATION! Aquarium water pump in it feeding the WBS at intervals. Water coming in, gravity excess from WBS. Air Bubble Stone. Excess water coming out of NUTETANK (gauge) to RES only at times were no or very low NUTE concentrations present. This water build up, created by the drip system, will be pretty much eliminated when plants start drinking, and it can also be stored and recirculated.

WBS. Took a couple of reusable drinking water 20l hard plastic bottles, chopped the head off. Find some fitting for tubing, and with loads of epoxy, silicon tape, and patience join them @ the neck, horizontally. Make 6 holes @ 33.6 degrees (if you're not a wirdo like me growing kind of sideways do them at 90 degrees naturally). Measure the radio of the net pots you got from the PLUMBING department, those thing they sell you for plants wont hold the monters we're intending to grow and wont give better stability to WBS once fitted in. Make the holes, be very careful, this was probably the dodgiest part. Corporations loose $ if you fuck with those bottles, so they are indeed ideal because the're inherently strong. If you find a way of cutting through it smoothly let me know. I used a machine wood saw and electric pliers, painful. Use a power drill to make little holes for air bubble stones tubing. Another pair of wholes, caliber of your tubing, at the 0,0 point of the x-y plane of the base of the bottle, or measure the depth of your netpots and do accordingly, always thinking water level about 1 " under pots. I made the cuttings in a way that the nadler is at the bottom of the WBS, fit an air stone in each of them, and an air line in the "necking", remember oxygenation is always better little by little [- cm3 per unit of time per stone times the watert flow]. Fit the netpots. I filled them with half - half lava rock and coco fiber, previously curated in chlorine, then vinegar, recommended. Find some kind of base for the WBS that will prevent it from rolling and will pick up any leakage water. Fit the water dripping tees to the each pot.

Flexible air tubing is pulling hot air from the lamp, through a carbon filter made out of some drying machine box part into a hollow door and then out to my apartment. 12 V fan blowing straight at back of lamp. Tower OSC fan. TEMP still a problem even though air coming in is nice and cool. Rarely reaching 90F!!! Usually around 80ish. Water temp not 2 bad, 60 - 70 F.

PH in the system will be a sacrifice to hydro culture but a break to da fishies. Neutral, dead 7. I do lower any water coming in to 6.5, tends to balance. Can lower it in the NUTETANK-WBS later on for better NUTE absorption, will see.

Germinated [D-DAY: October 21st 2010] the seeds in FIJI artesian water 7.8PH 14Magnesium 152Bicarbonates 91Silica 18Calcium! TDS 220. A bit edgy! start. Washed and microwaved a couple of glass cups. Poured FIJI in them while still warm. 3 Easy @ 1 + 3 Bubblelicius @ the other. Covered them with an alluminium jar with a hole on it covered with a a napkin soaked in FIJI to keep the very dry air from the heater from going in. 20hrs 80F 4hrs 85F. 6/6 Germination. Placed them 1cm into the Coco. Ryders on the left bottle, bubbles on the right bottle, ting ting ting!. Covered with natural cork circles. Started 20/4 Light Cycle (Mixed Metals) that will go ALL THE WAY (change to HPS @ bloom). Hopefuly they're all indeed autos.
Tomorrow will start feeding the turtles icecubes made with a juice [Dr. Flora's Home Steroid Formula, re-pre-sent, lol] of Weeping Willow Leaves and Nodes, Sushi Seaweed, and Natural Chuncky Bee Honey. Boil, rest, boil, coffee filter. Test 4 PH! Mine tends to + that's why I - the refills. That with fishie water is all until I see some STRONG leaves [levees! lol, fuck da system], bout a week I guess. Then we'll go the way of the seven, 7-7-7 with .02B, .05Cu, .10Fe, .08Mn, .05Z about 5ml per liter +-20%. Also 2gr/10lts of a powder hydro organic mixture with no readings, but tested with great results. For veg. Will replace (combine??? too much?? dilude???) 7-7-7 with 5ml/lt 5.24-4.40-13.68 for Bloom, and augment animal feedings.

Still working on the LEDs intermittent light, will comment later.

    OBJECTIVE:

    1. Demonstrate that a 1st time grower can have great results with proper preparation.
    2. 0.5K = Total moneyback [2000usd +-10%]. Hoping to satisfy smoking medical dossage necessities [1ounce/week] with 6 plants perpetual grow.

Will pull the REFLEX out to give you all some high quality images of this process.

Hoping to hear from all of you, help, advice, discussion, will be inmensly appreciated.

    Cheers 4 ur time,

    peace.

  2. Hello,

today the first little gal broke soil, it is a bubblelicious. 3 easy ryders and 3 bubblelicious were germinated in FIJI water for 24 hours. 6/6 germination. Planted half an inch under coco fiber started hid mh light cycle. Covered with cork circles for the first cycle to prevent exposure. Uncovered for secon cycle. 1 nirvana bubblelicious has come out of the fiber. No signs whatsoever from the rest. A copule of them were kind of spat out by the coco. Digged them back in.UPLOADED to a 6" intake fan temps still not coming down of 80F even with another 4" exhaust fan air circuited to the previous, recommends? AC would be a waste of energy since outside temps are nice and fresh!. Power filter still pulling fresh air from intake into FIShTANK. Have been watering mannually, even though the drip system is ready but the pump control isnt, probably tomorrow. Any ideas on how long it should take from germinated seed to braking soil??? When shouls I say day 1 is when I germinated or now that it broke soil? Will keep posting thank you.

  3. Very interesting setup I love everything man , quite innovative. Good luck and keep us posted

  4. Dam! TEMP impossible to control advice please. Keeping the door open 4 the moment stable at 80 with lights on 60 off. 1 Bubble growing rapidly, Skylar the rest were spat out by the coco again!!!!!!!!! Replanted in all the way down to the lava rock and added a pinch of organic Turba around them to help with the moist, relocated the cork circles on them. Flushed with distilled water and only distilled water in WBS and NUTETANK for the moment. Hoping girl will do it. THANKS.

  5. thank you! appreciate it will keep posting

  6. Hey Flora, just when you think you have seen it all...haha. Man this is one awsome set up you got. I really hope it works beyond your wildest dreams :D Im along for the ride. I am finishing up a grow this week, check out my thread below. Have a great day!

  7. Is hot in there! Pulled an air line from the roof thats were the freshair intake is at and im pulling air through it to the base of the WBS with a couple of circuited 4" fans NOT doing the job, the 7" fan directly to the door (top) as an exhaust, as soon as I close that door temps climb to 90. Wonder what will happen when I add the 400HPS!!! for bloom! Will have to start looking for AC I guess. No news from anyone except Bubble Skylar, Thank you all.

  8. Changed from 20/4 thats joint doctors recommend but temps will be better now, cheers.

  9. 18/6 from now on hoping Skylar wont mind too much. Starting to build small room for moms clones and germing seeds.

  10. Impossible to regulate TEMPS!! Please help, ballast and lamp are way too hot I've even been burned few times in there  Pulling fresh fresh cool air from the outside to under the WBS with 2 x 4" fans extracting hot air with 6 " fan attached to top of the door. Keeping the door open at the moment, still 80-84 in there. I changed the light cycle from 20/4 to 18/6 not helping in a matter of an hour the room heats up. Im building an alluminium air tube to put over the ballasts, probably a computer fan to create a flow.

    Thinking of the following:::

Will add the HPS 400W light and will use it from now on as the primary, and then with a separate timer activate the MH 1000W for only a couple of hours in the middle of the cycle as if it was midday and the sun is burnin! I'm pulling this right out of my nutsack, no scientific background to it. So please help with the pros and cons of MH/HPS VEG/BLOOM etc etc to see if this would be a good solution. 400W HPS good enough for 6 plants?

One of the bubblicious lost her head while replacing in the coco! Given her for dead, germinating another one. No news from the easy ryders or any other plant except Skylar she's growing fast, cat is staring at her worried about leaving the door open, probably very little yellowing in the middle added a bit of purified water to the distilled in the NUTETANK to charge it a bit.

    Thanks 4 ur help.

  12. Nice set up, very intuitive. On the temps issue your best bet is to get an air cooled hood for that mighty 1000 watt, and no less than a 6 inch inline fan around 450 cfm's sucking air out of the room. I use one 8 inch 840 cfm inline to cool 1600 watts. Your best bet is to create a vaccuum in the room that will suck in cool fresh air as fast as it is taken out . Simply put a 1000 watt without air cooled hood in an enclosed space = crazy temps that without an ac, requires proper ventilation. Best of luck to ya bro

  13. Thank you, very much appreciated. Good 1 on the vaccum, will focus on that, and the aired hood. 1 easy ryder is breakin soil!!!! The Amsterdam Derby Joint Doctors VS Nirvana just tied! Janice her name, naturally, the greatest lowryder of em all.

  14. I think your problem may be total air movement. I think you have to account for the heat of the light + cfm you want to move and fan up according. Keep in mind the air filter cuts throughput in half, so you have to get a fan thats double the cfm you want to move if its throug a filter. I use 140cfm for each 600w light, and pull outside air through them and back outside, which cuts temps. Hope that help! gl

  15. Thank you! Yes, definitely so. My air intake is 4- 5 " of air 10 - 15 C wich is pretty good. Cant make it wider is concrete and stuff. So will have to pull as much as I can from those 5"s . I will make a hood for my light and will pull air from that same line, I wonder if I hook to the 4" airline another 4" airline to the fan that will feed the lamp, airflow will just cut to half to each node or will it ideally pull more air???? Will go shopping for fans etc on friday. Already made a 7" exhaust hole in the door for the exhaust fan that is not enough for now im working on stealthing that! Will buy an extra ehaust fan for the lamp, an extra fan for the ballasts and will make an alluminium hood for them. What u think about MH vs HPS??? thanx

  16. Updates!

Skylar, the bubblelicious, growing strong. Janice lowryder thick stem, pretty short, going on rite behind. Another lowryder, Joan, kind of wanting to turn green from yellow and open up, cant tell if shell make it, she was replanted into the lava rock after the coco spat her out. The bubblelicious that went through the same didnt make it. The third bubblelicious and the third lowryder rot, broke, kinda died. I germinated a fourth bubble she's showing stem rite know. Germinating a fifth to fill the 3 bubble spots. No more lowryder seeds, hope those 2 will make it, we have a free spot. Germinating a ton of seeds some chaman gave me, aztek haze he said, to plant in soil i found space for maybe 4 to 6 pots in the grow room. Will probably take the strongest one of those and put it in the free spot on the left, will see. Temperatures are chilling outside so my high temps problem is being naturally solved for the moment. Using lots of distilled water to flush and germinate. Tap water incredibly mineral heavy, having to use bottled water / distilled if wanting to control PH. Question, is it important that I use 5.8-6 now that im using no nutes ( except from natural nits from fish water ) or should I just live it at 7 until I add nutes? I lowered the lamp, plants loving it, it is a 1000W MH at 40cm away, used to be a meter away as recommended, but they dont mind at the contrary.

    What I've learned:

Seed to clone-size plant TAKES MUCH LONGER THAN I THOUGHT! I will build, and should've done it before, a veg room with fluoruscent lights, smaller place for all of this time, and a mother plant, clonings, etc. Wasting fuckloads of energy.

If using Coco Fiber mix it like I did with something steadier like lava rock, but leave the lava on top, bury the coco fiber. With air, temps, humidity etc coco fiber moves like a stubborn bitch, spits seeds out, makes weird growths etc, bury the fucker with lava rock wich is steadier, put the seeds into the lava rock, not the coco, maybe add a very little bit of furba around the germinated seed.

For the rest I guess we're doing alrite. My next grow will be Barneys LSD, will make a mother plant, and hoping to get her pregnant with a male Aztek Haze see what we get. Will update on smaller veg room. Still waiting for my leds.

PATIENCE O' PATIENCE, has been a lot of work, a lot of money, couldve, was going to, buy a motorcycle, lol, hopefully it will pay out, if it keeps me from buying for my smoke, after 6 months Ill be good. Grow babies grow!!!

How long u rekon til I start feeding skylar???

    18/6 light cycle

    Cheers

  17. There´s life @ the 6 pots! Skylar has already grown huge bright white roots now submerged in the oxygenated water, along with Janice. WBS proved itself. Now I have 3 out of 5 seeds nirvana bubblelicious going on, and 2 out of 3 seeds Lowryders. The extra spot has been taken by a royal haze. i got the touch to the planting of the germinated seed in the coco - lava mix, its all about a pinch of organic turba to wrap it up with. I went a bit nuts and decided to plant 72 aztec seeds. 3 in every 24 canadian moss pea pellets. I´m letting the fastest-stronger one of each to live, will cut the rest as an early sexing strategy. Will make a SOG out of those, still figuring out what tho use for pots and roots, some multipot design or something. Still have to go look for better vents, is good enough to leave the door open for now, but Ill have to travel soon. Wondering how long until skylar autoflowers, if she does. Room temp 80. RES 70. Nutes fed manually to janice (left middle) and skylar (right middle) only. The rest running on fishie water.

So now that we have life at all the original spots of the present experiment, we may pronounce today, nov the 15th, as d-day, day one, of the project. 2 Lowryder + 1 Royal Haze VS 3 Bubblelicious. 18/6. + 24 aztec haze SOG

Forum is being a bitch about image sizes wants me to manually resize, will probably upload pics tomorrow.

    Peace

  18. 5 girls going on. Trimmed the fuck out of the bubble Skylar and easyryder Janice that got heat burns 60-70% of their bodies. The rest caching up, hopefully this will make them all kind of growth-even. Full on nutes now. Organic powder no brand. Water is yellowish. It is great though because its a ph down formula that deals with the heavy heavy water I use, somehow keeps the ph 5.8 were i want it, nice. Worrying about nute lock, ppm is in the 1000´s. Alkalinity ok. Have been flushing once a week though. Thinking of refilling turtles RES with bottled water, and get some distilled to flush the pots. Temp 70dark 80light F with door open if I close the room they jump to 120F in minutes! Almost killed my two bigger ones, killed the second lowryder. Will have to fix my temps problem in there, probbly will pull the ballasts out of the room, its winter now, cant imagine summer climates. Again so someaone please please helps: Pulling air from the outside, temp ´round , 4 inch input with a couple of inline fans each pulling 75CFM, output is a 6 inch 152CFM, tower fan, little fan straigh up to lamp from under the plants. room is 1.5 mts wide, 1.7 mts long, 1.7 high right .4 mts high left (27 degree incline) Light rite now is a 1000W GE mixed metals. Will add 400W GE Sodium.
No success on ANY of the 70 something seeds planted in the canadian peat moss pellets, wonder why probably those pellets just aint good. Will add a flood tray to make a SOG between the turtles RES and the WBS.
The Amsterdam Derby  so far: 3 out of 5 seeds nirvana, and the tallest one Skylar. Joint doctors 1 out of 3 seeds, but one death is mine to blame, janice was also the first one to show pistills and smell, wonder what will happen to her after the very bad burns and she trimming she aint looking too good. Dinafem came to fill a spot with a royal haze one out of one, growing rapidly, problem is she aint automatic, will have to deal with her.
A friend gave me an ounce of "arizona" the other day, as i was crumbling it, I found the most beautiful, huge, perfectly round, dark veined, seed i´ve ever seen, shes germinating site now, the only seed in the whole ounce pretty weird, hope shes a she and a killer one.

hope 2 hear from u all,

    peace
